Kung GLS Sport M/T yung spinecify ng TS, yan yung 2011 model na 3.2L 4M41 yung makina. Discontinued na yan as of June 2012, so it says on the MMPC website price list.

Currently, the highest spec Strada with a manual tranny is the GLS-V 4x4 priced at 1.210M. That's almost 170k cheaper than the Hilux 3.0G MT at 1.379M.

Ayoko lang naman sa GLS-V Strada, hindi siya naka-17" rims. But as an all-rounder, I still think its better than the Hilux. I'd only consider something else if I wanted a pickup to use primarily as a workhorse.

AFAIK, 17" po sir ang 4x4. i think 4x2 yung 16". for me, strada is great. talong talo ang hilux. price pa lang ang layo na. tapos mas madaming features pa ang strada compared to hilux. ranger ok rin ata. base on their site, 1,179,000 totoo ba to? ang mura ah haha. navara mas mahal pa sya sa hilux e, lower ng 4hp than strada pero sabi nila comfortable daw. lower hp naman ang dmax, almost same price with hilux. bt-50 naman ang tagal dumating. sabi dati may, tapos june, tapos july.

Strada vgt engine has 350Nm lang and not 400Nm. For our local market, they only brought in the 350Nm. They should have added 50Nm more for the AT models. Strada has the upperhand here, from features up to pricing. Durability.... I would say same lang for both trucks

The MT strada has 400Nm, the AT strada has the 350Nm.

Turbo with VNT for the 3.0 D4D. VNT and VGT are the same, different manufacter have different terms but it boils down to the same variable turbo.

^there's a reason why the A/T models has lower torque. there's a post here regarding about it. It's the Transmission slippage as far as i can remember.

You're never ever going to miss that extra torque. 0-100 times for the MT and AT Strada are nearly identical. The Strada has way more torque than grip, and once you're moving at highway speeds, the extra low-rpm torque doesn't matter at all (you'll be at high rpm already).

On some Australian reviews of the mitsubishi triton, which is the equivalent of our philippine strada, Mitsu limited the torque of the AT variant to 350Nm to protect and improve the automatic transmission's reliability.
Anyway, as an all around pickup, I would choose the strada because of its comfortable ride and its big price advantage over the hilux. However, if it will be used primarily as a utility vehicle to be driven on very rough terrain, I would go with the hilux. It would be advisable though to wait a bit for the coming Ford Ranger and have a closer look.

Perhaps sir you can give us more info like where do you plan to use it. Whats your normal route? Do you plan to load up the truck on a daily basis? How many kilos on a average do you intend to carry?

Had talked to a owner of a bike shop loading his brand new hilux with new bikes still inside the boxes. He had choosen hilux mainly because it has the longest bed among the japanese brands. He can maximize his trip by carrying 1 to 2 boxes more. Talked to a strada owner, he opted for strada because of its height since he lives in malabon(puede sugod sa baha). He also mentioned he doesnt carry that much load thats why he opted to get himself a strada, tama lang daw yun bed space ng strada for him for his occassional loading of his stuffs.

Tried my cousins hilux before, for my normal route and loads the hilux G matic is only getting 5 to 6 km/liter. Compared a 2.5 vgt matic with the same route and load im getting a better FC with 7 to 8 km/liter. But im guessing during constant speed run the bigger engine will get a better FC.

But sir TS those are matics, im sure you will be getting alot better FC with a manual.

Both ATs will get 5-7 km/l in traffic, from my experience. Very little difference, if at all. 4x4 and nearly two tons of truck will do that.

Question lang mga sir, pareho po ba maselan sa diesel ang dalawang to? baka ang gusto nito euro4 na diesel? plano kasi namin i destino sa probinsya yung pick up if ever
