which of the two is a good buy? factors to consider:

    1. Price tag
    2. Maintenance
    3. Fuel Consumption

The Avanza is cheaply designed with its body on frame structure, will end up with more squeaks and rattles easily. Livina has 1.8L and six speeds and has a more expensive and clearly better unibody construction. Avanza has dual AC though.

    I still go for Livina.

The Avanza is cheaper and would have more parts availability...

I'm not sure on the FC of the Livina but definitely i'd get this over the Avanza (power, comfort and looks)

Yeah parts availability wise, the Avanza trumps the Livina. Be cautious of oil sludging though, most common problem of Avanzas, saka yung hindi umiikot ang langis sa makina then kakatok. Have heard this on a friend and many taxi drivers hahaha but most probably on beaten up units

I'd go for the Livina. If I had the money for a 1.5G Avanza, I'd save up and get the Innova J instead.

Hindi pa ba dual AC yung new Livina? It would have been a great upgrade kung dual AC na.

    My cousin has a 2010 Avanza G.
It can take 6 to 7 people from point a to b, with better air conditioing than GL
Pero di komportable given the size and suspension.
Hirap din ang makina due to lack of power.

Kung GL naman, mainit din at masikip.
Problem naman ang durability kung madalas siyang mapuno.

If you can raise a few more grands, mag Innova E ka na lang, o kahit nga innova J lang, then isetup na lang ng konti.

    Good deal na yan pards.

Versus the Avanza and gas Innova J, i'd definitely go for a Livina unless i need the beefier suspension and added height of the Innova.

Onga, asar na asar siguro yung agent ko, pero sabi ko i refund namin yung 10k resrvation at ibibigay sa kanya for her effort...naawa ako may itsura pa naman.

Back to topic, maganda ride ng Livina parang auto, tsaka yung feel sa loob classy, wood panel, GPS with DVD, skirts and spoiler. Decent engine response, sinubukan ko ihataw sa edsa, pwede na rin, mas matagtag nga lang sa Lancer EX ko pero ayos na rin.
