Since medyo malapit na presyo ng 3rd Gen Santa Fe (4x4) sa Pajero... Which is a better buy?

Ride?
Handling?
Engine?
4x4 system?
Maintenance (No idea in Mitsu)

I have a soft spot for Pajeros so I'd pick it over the SF. Though vs. Santa Fe, mas maganda ride ng SF. Pero being a Pajero I know mas may capability 'to sa off-road. Image wise I'd say BK pa rin.

Not considering the Explorer? Falls around the SF range din.

Handling- Pajero
Engine- the Pajero diesel is pretty good, but the Santa Fe is lighter, so performance is similar.
4x4 system - wouldn't take either off road.
Maintenance - depends on the dealer.

Handling? City driving = SF, 50/50 City/Off road = Pj
Engine? Power = SF, Reliability/image = Pj
4x4 Pj

So, 50/50 ang score kumporme kung saan at paano mo s'ya gagamitin.
Dagdagan natin ng category yung "toys", SF ako dyan!

Pero kapag 7 seater, Paj na. Mas matibay kaha/suspension niya dahil designed for offroading.

Pretty the SF may be but I'd go with a Pajero.

pajero pa rin... pang long term talaga.. matibay pa rin tingnan tingnan mo kahit yung mga field master ngayon mukhang bago pa rin..

i'd go for pajero over sf. ibang level ang pajero. nasa vera cruz ang level ng pajero. sf is with the outlander. kaso, walang outlander na sa pinas. cuv lang talaga kasi ang sf.

prado has gas with 2.7M price range. engine is lot better than the pajero. pajero is sporting the 3.8l engine while prado is 4.0l.

my swb 2008 pajero 3.8 mivec produces 269hp compared to the prado's 4.0 v6 which produces only 239hp, the same 4.0l engine that powers the fj cruiser and fortuner(gulf version)

Had the same dilemma before I just settled for the Pajero iba pa rin image at sure ka sa tibay talaga mataas pa resale value, hehehe!
