2012 Mirage or Fiesta Trend?

Starters Car. which will you choose? babae kasi yung gagamit.

Mirage has alot of the goodies. CVT, Push Button Start, keyless entry, Auto Climate, Touch screen/Navigation,etc. but has less space. and a 3 cylinder 1.2 engine. boring design for me. bawi naman sa features.

2012 Mirage GLS CVT
Php 638,000-25,000(pre-order discount)
= Php 613,000
Free 15,000 worth of genuine accessories.

the Fiesta Trend hatchback on the other hand has a better styling, a bigger 1.4li 4 cylinder engine, bigger(?) space, Fun to drive factor. never inquired on a ford branch though.

please help me choose. the cheaper and better equipped mirage or the better styling but more expensive fiesta?

Girls generally will not appreciate a more aggressive external styling as much as guys. Girls also tend to go for more features.

The Mitsu Mirage is the better choice. Plus it has a better potential of having better fuel economy than the Fiesta.

sya na lang mismo papiliin mo sa itsura. kung mirage napili nya, solve agad ang problem kasi lamang sa features ang mirage plus mas mura pa.

gusto niya pareho. actually, this is a surprise gift ng dad niya sana. secret sana as much as possible. yun ang mahirap. di mo matatanong ng maige kung anong gusto. fiesta yung dream car niya talaga. pero OK din siya sa mirage looks. pinakita ko brochure from PIMS. white daw gusto niya. di lang niya naabutan sa PIMS since may work. but she eagerly wants to see it in person and niloko pa niya dad niya pareserve na to avail discount.

actually, nagpareserve na bro. niya savannah white GLS CVT for advance sa discount. pero refundable naman kaya ok lang magbackout. besides, ford and mitsubishi pampanga are owned by laus group.

around 100k cheaper pero sulit kaya? kung siya bibile mirage din ako. practical. pero kung bibigay lang ni dad. napapaisip kami. features vs. looks.hehe

The Mirage isn't that bad. With a simple mod, you can make it look much better... usually its just the matter of the front grille.

actually sir, concern nya rin yung front parang walang dating. hindi pangit pero hindi din maganda. pero may idea na ako. lagyan nalang ng black foil yung grill area.hehe

oo nga e. yan yung idea ko talaga before I saw the PIMS model white foiled mirage. bumagay nga.hehe.
kaya nung sabe white gusto niya di na kami nagpatumpik-tumpik pa. pinareserve na at binrainwash na namin para wala ng magustuhan na ibang kulay lalo na yung mga girly na color.hehe.

last look nalang sa fiesta. then decide na kami.hehe. it much have been simpler kung kasama namin siya at siya magdecide. the interior feel and quality also better sa fiesta. the mirage interior is simple. but it looks cheap at some parts. oh well, it is designed to be cheap anyway.hehe. the rear seats di man lang nilagyan ng korte yung upuan. pangit ng dating.hehe.

haha. baka front, side and rear kits, and visors lang makukuha dun. na browse ko na yung mga ralliart accessories ng mirage. puro burloloy na chrome. ayaw ko nun. OK ba yun? ako napapangitan ako sa mga un e. chrome HL,TL,etc. wala naman makukuha genuine accessories like FL kasi standard equipped na karamihan sa GLS.

I'd rather take the GLX model and apply the black grill effect.

I wonder what performance stuff can be done to this car... the engine is supposedly the same MIVEC engine found in the Lancer EX minus one cylinder. WOuld be interesting to get a long look under the car so see it's chassis and suspension configuration.
