syempre tinitingnan pa din power and torque but not to compare it if it's faster than the other car. pag tumitingin ako ng mga ganyan auto tinitingnan ko if the power is enough for the car meaning if it won't have a problem going up hill or over taking when you want to not if it can beat the other car on a drag race. both cars have the power and torque to do just both so i would test drive it and see which is more comfortable and has the better handling.

The graph is for force at the ground. How much force each car can apply to the ground represents how fast they can accelerate at that speed.

The CR-V is geared for economy... meaning that it's doing 100 km/h at under 2000 rpm in 5th gear. But the Sportage is also doing 100 km/h at under 2000 rpm in 6th gear. The difference is the Sportage makes around 100+ hp at 2000 rpm, so it can cruise easily at that speed... whereas the CR-V likely makes only 40-50 hp... which means that if you need to go faster to overtake, it's likely the transmission will have to shift down. It's only in 3rd gear that the CR-V has as much power at 100 km/h as the Sportage...

Yung sportage yung solid line yung crv yung broken? Ano ibig sabihin nung sa solid line yung pang third gear nya naka 100 na sya tapos yung broken naman second gear bago pa maka lagpas sa 100?

I go for the one with better creature comforts and good suspension. Mas ma appreciate mo everyday ang comfort than speed unless you want to go to work or school earlier.=D
