many filipino people cannot afford the pickup of Toyota. and many Filipino people looks for their "subok na" in term in performance, comfortable rides and fuel effiecient. overprice na ang price ng hilux!!!!!grrrrr

just some info. Ang PNOC here in our place rents pick-ups for use sa mga geothermal plant construction nila. they require new model pick ups for the fleet. of the two pick-ups being mentioned here one of the pick-up comes out ahead. while the other needs to go to the casa to be fixed frequently. This is a direct feedback from one of the people who has both and leases them to PNOC.

    ano kaya ang mas matibay?

Ummm... the Hi-Lux doesn't have those features... so why look for them in the Strada?

FYI, the Hi-Lux doesn't have ABS, EBD, MID (multi-info display) & TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) which the Strada 4x4 has.

in terms of reliability. Dont believe in Toyota's Tough Truck syndrome. I think the last tough Hilux ive seen was the one with SFA. Other than that, they have gone soft... The new one was made to cut costs.

Ive recommend the Strada. Ito ay ginagamit rin same in Africa. Its easier to live with lalo na kasi mas maganda ang ride and its easy to own. 4D56 powerplant makes it safe to go around the Philippines even to the deepest part of the barangay. Well known na talaga ang 4D56 to most mechanics.

Tignan mo nalang sa paligid mo kung ilang L300 and tumatakbo. Almost all corners merong L300. With regards to L200, dami nito sa Mindanao. 10 years buhay pa kahit 4x2 ginamit pang 4x4 work pero di pa rin sumuko.

I am sure na babalik sa inyo ang ininvest ninyo sa Strada.
    Style - Strada
Performance - Strada (goes 170kph and lesser fuel cost)
Overall Specs - Strada (because it has more features than the Hilux - oh value for money too!)
