Guys,
Need your help naman po. I am planning to buy a car and I'm trying to decide kung alin sa dalawang ito (RIO or GETZ) ang kukunin ko. Medyo iba po ung dalawang car na ito pro I would like to know your opinion on what you would prefer.
Sa ngayon daw, they're not planning to sell one here.
What about durability and safety? Ano po kya mas ok sa dalawa?
Besides sa mas malaki ung room ng rio sa likod kc sedan cya, I want to know yung advantages ng RIO against GETZ and vice versa. hehehehe

Tho i find the Rio interior toyish pa rin.
Un ke Sir Lui not included, lol!
Sa insurance premium madarama mo yan(a little sa PMS).
Kung bitin, pick na lang bet. Rio o Getz 1.4. Its hatch againts sedan na ang laban. Last edited by hominid; October 29th, 2007 at 08:07 PM.

so napaisip akong mag getz na lang.. but i'm not sure if ok siya kaya im asking for your opinion.. hehehe

October 29th, 2007 10:15 PM #5Wala ngang release d2.
so napaisip akong mag getz na lang.. but i'm not sure if ok siya kaya im asking for your opinion.. hehehe

Parang mahirap lang sa Kia they tend mo make heavier vehicles(excluding Pica of course). Bad for FC, good for suspension. So whatever is more important for you. Saka parang mas mahal magpa service sa Kia.
Good local Hyundai vehicles:
Starex
Getz
Tucson
Sante Fe
For Kia:
Carens
Sorento - best bang 4 d buck, true 4x4 SUV, kaso overshadowed by SF
Sportage -ok din, overshadowed by TucsonLast edited by hominid; October 29th, 2007 at 10:20 PM.

Well, I have a Rio(2006 lng nga pero same ung look. Not sure about the features. Mine don't have air bags X_X).
I haven't tried a getz but here are the things that I like about the Rio.
1.) it can be cute or aggressive (green = cute , blue/red = aggressive)
2.) malaki ung boot (3 golf bags kasya)
3.) The engine is right for the body ( Kung wla ka masyado karga, you'll fly)
4.) Light steering (I bet the Getz rin has light steering but as I said, I haven't tried one yet)
5.) And the handling's pretty good. The tires grip on the road well. At a certain speed and angle, it's tires don't screech as for the other cars I've ridden already... (namely, a Cefiro A32, Kia Pride, Lancer GSR 2-door. Or maybe dahil bago ung Rio.) But surely it's turning capabilities surprised me.
Well, my 2 cents... My opinions about the Rio.

The Kia Rio has good handling (surprisingly), but I'm so-so on the tires.
The Rio is much more secure than the Getz, and it rides better, given the longer wheelbase and the more modern chassis... but I find the Getz decent at the price.
Both cars have better steering than the newer Toyota Vios (the closest to the Rio's price range), although the 1.4 of the Rio doesn't quite have the same "pep" as Toyota's engines. Gearshift is merely "meh"... pretty rubbery, but at least the clutch is light.
The Getz doesn't have very much cargo space when you're riding four-up... there's an advantage to having an actual trunk, as in the Rio. And, personally, the Rio looks much better.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

What about jazz po? may nag suggest lang kase skin. Any problem w/ this car?

The problem with the Jazz is its price - hehe.
Anyway, between the Rio & Getz, I'll go with the Rio since its a little bigger and it looks very nice (just get rid of those steel rims).
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
