I do believe there are Quattros... but not in the price range the poster is looking at.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
BMW, maganda naman yong bagong shape nya, maganda lang ang Audi kung may bodykit. Test drive mo pareho at don ikaw lang ang makapagsasabi kung alin ang gusto mo.

The Audi is good if you don't have plans of keeping it.
Product support sucks bigtime. One day they're here, the next day wala na only to resurface again under new management but with service staff mostly trained to handle only newer models.

Need an Ambulance? We sell Zic Brand Oils and Lubricants. Please PM me.
para sa budget ng poster the RWD Bimmer is a better choice. One more thing tama si OTEP about Audis...See post above...
Not anymore... I believe the more recent 3-series models including the all-new E90 are now imported CBU from either Germany or BMW's Rosslyn Plant in South Africa.
-globalautoindexThe Rosslyn plant is now the second-best vehicle manufacturing plant in the world according to a major US ratings survey

Article from Manila Bulletin online
"Audi P10 TDI remains unbeaten
After its fourth race, the Audi R10 TDI remains unbeaten. The prototype which became the first diesel-powered sportscar to win the Le Mans 24 Hour race, added another victory in the sixth round of the American Le Mans Series in Portland, Oregon.
In the third race for the Audi R10 TDI in the US, Dindo Capello and Allan McNish triumphed ahead of their teammates Frank Biela and Emanuele Pirro to score the first double victory of the Audi R10 TDI.
The two Audi sportscars started the race from the second and third rows. After a late change of regulations in which the organizers allowed the strongest competitor in the Le Mans P1 class, the Dyson-Lola team, to reduce the weight of the car by 40 kilograms to 860kg, the Audi drivers Dindo Capello and Emanuele Pirro had to be content in qualifying with positions three and five respectively..."
The TDI is available locally in Audi and they say it is the best of both worlds...
regarding product support I believe wala na sila with Autoprominence which was quite troublesome for us.

its a second hand info from a reliable source. i have a friend who previously had an Audi, at the time PGA isnt still the owner of the marque locally. she said maintaining her car before was a headache, dunno about PGA's service now. she has BMW 5 series now and she's happy with it and she finds it easier to maintain.
mmm...I hope we won't go OT with the 2 cars in question. We may end up comparing LeMans cars again...
Also a source informs me that PGA now sells almost twice as much Audis as it did some months back. These arent huge numbers since it isnt as big a player as BMW and Benz. Generally, this could among other things mean...
1. They have a better sales team than Autoprominence did
2. They are perceived to give better service thus getting confidence from buyers
Also, BMW reportedly (not according to me but marketers) does a marketing strategy to create illusion of volume of sales which makes it more prevalent on the road. I can PM you how it is done if you PM me as I will not broadcast since it may ruffle some feathers. It is what pundits in the industry claim.
The thread is RE: which is the better choice, not who's winning the ALMS.

Well, it's commonly known that Autoprominence was a sucky distributor, which is why Audi did their darnedest to get away from them. If PGA does better by them, more power.
And if you do have dirt on BMW, go ahead and post it, this is a public forum, and we're used to exposing the sins of the industry. No need to go all hush-hush secret about it.
if i had to choose between the Audi A4 and BMW 320i i would definitely choose the Audi R10 TDI![]()
Yes, that is why I added that about the TDI since they now have it available diba. So he gets a differing point of view. It would do good to actually read the post.
Yes, As an owner of both an Audi and a BMW from experience autoprominence has been very naughty here. PGA seems different. It was noted as one of the top BMW dealers before and is also seen as a good Porsche rep here. For Audi PGA has the current software (which Autoprominence doesnt) and they do good work as am now taking it there. For my z3 I go to autohaus at Libis since they are good with BMW. some are pretty dodgy as well. I have no affinity to either marque.
Wouldnt want to discuss BMW practice since it would open another can of worms and may be deemed as OT.
