Feedback i got was of course it felt Euro solid and it shares some parts with the Astra... downside to this of course will be service and repair cots and a low resale value.

My Zafira

I have a 2001 Zafira with 42,000kms. It has been good to me since then. Nothing broken yet. Just the usual filters, brake pads etc... The prices for the parts are OK. As usual, mas mahal sa Casa.

There are complete parts for the Zafira at Thunder in Quezon Ave, Banawe, Masangkay Manila etc.... Service outside casa is also possible in numerous talyers.

This is a very popular car in UK and in Germany. Highly rated in European Magazines since wala nito sa US.

It is my daily driven car. Very good and strong dual aircon, good suspension. Four wheel disc brakes,ABS, Airbags, Super Low emissions vehicle. As for fuel consumption, it is better than the CRV. Around 6.5-7kms/liter in City traffic.

nice. . . thanks for the replies guys! may offer kasi sakin at 400k 2002 matic. yung ride nya ba hindi choppy pag nalubak? or katulad din exactly sa bmw and benz euro kc.

400T is very cheap already for a 02 Zafira. This car is best bought used. Mine used to cost over 1 million when new.

The ride is not like a benz or BMW.

The suspension is a bit meduim hard. But not choppy. The Zafira has the best suspension comparing it with a Rav4, CRv, AUvs like higlander, adventure, revo etc.. If you ever rode on an OPEL ASTRA, it is similar.

Negative things I can say about this car is:
1) acceleration is very slow since it is an AT.
2) Malakas sa gas if you have a heavy foot. For Relaxed driving only snd not for racing.

Positive things:
1) Not common
2) dual aircon with 7 seats
3) solid feel in Highways specially in the SLEX and North Expressways.
4) Drives like a car.
5) Strong Aircon.
6) Can be driven in tight spaces since maliit ang width ng car.
7) the body sheetmetal is thicker compared to a japanese car.

I think it only came here with a Chevy badge. Pag gusto mo euro na euro palitan mo na lang ng opel ang mga emblems.

Even for a 2000 model, mura pa din yan for that price. When The zafira came out around 2000, It was about 1.1 million. Kung wala pa akong zafira, ako na ang kukuha nyan for 400T. Murang mura na yan

It was never sold here as an OPEL. It was always been a Chevrolet although it was in an OPEL showroom. Anyway, you canconvert the badges to an OPEL. Although Masyadong mahal since you have to purchase the whole grille assembly. Steering wheel badges, rear badges, mags center cap.

GM autoworld never launched the Zafira as an OPEL.

There are only 2 Zafiras that I know of here in the Phils that have the OPEL badge. One is a light blue from Ayala Alabang and a Red color from a Diplomat in Makati.

BTW, I saw those 2 black Zafiras for sale in west ave. they are repossesed cars from BPI bank. Both were sold already. The prices were very cheap but have a bit of problem with its aircon and have damaged rear bumpers and taillights.
