July 11th, 2006 02:43 PM #3I would get the strada. 235mm ground clearance, 2.5 turbo charged engine 100ps., leather seats and leather steering wheel, build in step board, 3 additional gauges on the dash board (inclometer, voltage meter, and temperature), standard 31 X 10.5 r15 tires. The Frontier comparing the 4x4 model has a 3.2 engine has almost the same horsepower 103ps( has no turbo lag but consumes more diesel), less prone to smoke belching ( has dual fuel filter), a very efficient aircon system, ground clearance is at 215mm, standard 235/70r 15 tires. both models have maplights.

July 11th, 2006 02:57 PM #5So the strada should be a bit more fuel efficient than the frontier in city driving?

July 11th, 2006 03:01 PM #6yes 2.5 vs 3.2 but the power in the frontier is very overwhelming everytime you step on the gas pedel the frontier will give you 100% torque at all times. Sa strada when you step on the gas pedal may konting delay until it roars to 2,000rpm duon mo lang mafefeel and lakas ng torque kasi by that time palang gagana ang turbo charger.

pwede sama nyo sa comparison yung fuego sports. my co. is choosing bet. the 2 (strada and fuego). frontier ang sikip kasi sa likod sobra.

I will choose Strada as well...parts are relatively cheap and abundant. It has the nicest ride among the old pick-up (frontier, fuego, old hilux, ranger) It has more cabin space, nicer interior appointment (although this is subjective) and I like its macho stance... and its 4x4 system is aready shift on the fly (I maybe wrong on this one though)
Frontier will be my close second on this old pickup segment....
