This one looks pretty fresh though.
250k asking price eh. At that level, is it still worth it? For less than 100k more you can get a Mazda 3 2.0 which is much newer.

The most expensive used vehicle will be the one with the lowest price.

Alam naman natin laging negotiable ang mga ganyan. Lalo na't midsize sedan, mas mahirap ibenta. Manual pa siya, mas konting may gusto. 250k asking sa huli baka 200 nalang yan or even less. From what I can see in the pictures, sariwa naman siya lalo na yung leather seats, which is quite rare for a car this age. I'd say it's worth a visit.

the indicated odometer reading is 150K...
is this still worth buying at the haggle-able price?

Nung nagtext kasi ako, offer ko 175 or 200 kung kasama mags. Nagpass siya. Sabi ko kunin ko 200k or 225k with mags, ayaw pa rin. Saka siya nagoffer ng 250k with the mags.

Parang ayoko kagatin even if maayos yung car kasi nga ang lapit na sa Mazda 3 price.

We had an m6 before, and i believe its the first and only m6 here in baguio, based on the plates and since i rarely encounter them. That was way back in 2005. Anyhow, the car was quite impressive. Never had a problem on the mountain roads here as it was fast, and was quite responsive. I loved that car. Only bad thing is fuel economy, never went above 6km/l on manual computation. But do bear in mind that i live here in baguio and that car rarely goes out of town.

Sadly, we had to sell them to make way for SUVs. I still miss that m6. Better than both camry and accord for me.

Dito lang sa Paranaque. Kumuha lang ako mechanic and pinakalas ko lahat ng pangilalim.

Binili ko lahat sa alabang parts pyesa tapos yun na. Yung iba tinakbo ko kay cruven para mapress yung bushing.

Binayaran ko mechanic 3k for 3 days. Hehe.

    Alignment and underwash sa shell.

    Pwede naman replacement lang bro.

Sa mga parts store meron replacement.

Yung labor, madali lang... Usually parts store would recommend saan papagawa.

    That looks clean...

Unreasonable price lang but it's in pristine condition.

If your after the accord, it's worth a look. Haggle the price after the test drive, baka sakali bimigay sa 230k.

In my experience mahirap talaga tumawad sa text. Mas ok to look at it first to show your a serious buyer.

Sorry bro I'm getting confused, your VTi-L is a 6th gen or 7th gen?

If it's a 6th gen, the 2.3 did 0-100 in under 10 seconds (both MT and AT) and had a top speed of over 200 kph. A Mazda 3 2.0 4AT only does it in 10.5 and I think only reaches 195.

I understand that slow can be relative - what's acceptable ba for you?

I cant remember even what gen it was . I know it was the second full model change that they had after they started initially selling the accord in the philippines. Believe me, i thrashed this car as often as i could. It could barely get to 160. Barely.

This was the all leather, power seat equipped version with the Alpine 2-din stereo as standard.

    This Accord?

    imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1411898330.711256.jpg

Weird, I saw a few Youtube videos with the car breaking 200 kph, both 2.0 and 2.3 versions.

I find it hard to believe that this particular Accord has poor performance because both owners and online reviews of the car put its drivetrain as its strongest suit..

Yeah that one. Trust me, its not fast

But it seems you are leaning towards this or a Mazda. Just giving you the opinion of someone who has actually owned this car when it was brand new.

After reading and watching videos of stock Accord 2.3s and Mazda 6 2.3s (unscientific, but gives a good idea of performance):

0-100 is both under 10 sec but an MT Accord seems to be faster than an AT Mz6.

    0-160, the Mz6 has a slight advantage, 23 vs 25 sec.

0-200, the Mz6 is much faster at a little over 40 seconds while the Accord is over 50. Not too important since there aren't many places you can do 200.

The Mz6 is still the better overall performer but the Accord is very close.

Of course in anything else other than performance the Mz6 just murders the Accord since it's much newer.

At this point, I'm pretty decided on the Mazda 6 already. I can say with conviction that it's worth double the price of a used 6th gen Accord because of its younger age, better looks and image, superior features, and great performance.

Hirap lang talaga humanap ng fresh all-stock unit under 400k. If anyone knows anyone selling a well-maintained unit, please hook me up.

Kaya ako natetempt mag-Accord kasi laging may bagong sumusulpot sa Sulit.

But then again, why settle for an inferior choice?

    2005-2007, 300-350k, up to 400k if it's a very very fresh unit.

Thanks but pass ako bro diyan sa link na yan - first of all, RICEY. Second, I believe that people with crap looking cars are also crap at maintaining them. Third, it's red. I'll only consider a white, black, beige, or silver Mz6.
