Assumming we're talking about brand-new units. It's the Fortuner....hands down.
Technology, Re-sale value, Driving experience.....it's a no-brainer.

As many have mentioned that the D-4D choking was resolved.

what if 2hand 2.8FM pajero versus Toyota Fortuner? whcih is best buy?

Fieldmasters from the past three years or so aren't 4WD, I think.
While I prefer the ride of the Fieldmaster (just love those adjustable shocks), the Fortuner is much better value for money in terms of body control, styling and engine technology.
The Fieldmaster ain't a bad car, though.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I would reconsider, if the Pajero is a 2nd hand Low mileage Gen3. Then again, baka mahirap hanapin yan.

it's 2nd hand pricing is still within that of a brand new FM or Fort 3.0 D-4D
2nd hand brand new FM 2.8 ako basta 4x4 at manual

The fieldmaster is good but outdated already, unless you are getting one really cheap.
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
