What are the specs? Depende naman kung turbo or non-turbo yung Eclipse. Kung turbo, that price is kinda okay. I'd prefer to get a used 99' Nissan 200SX (2 liter turbo rear wheel drive... dyahe lang na puros AT yung nandito) at those prices (they range from 680-950, depending on mileage).
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
You can get 200sx units at lower thann 500K if the unit is a well beat-up one (average is at 550-650 for the stock ones). Eclipse should be in the 500-700K range also.
The big factor is mileage and condition, and malaking plus kung di pa nababangga.
between the local versions of the Nissan 200SX and the Mitsu Eclipse, if you want "porma" or headturning ability, you might want the Eclipse. For performance, you might want to get the 200SX though.
hey with the 200sx you can be 'feeling' initial D, kaya lang matic :D
pero just the same, dami mong maisasakay na chix dyan. hehehehe. babe magnet ika nga.
i remember when i went to a nissan dealership in the late 90s, saw a black 200sx in the showroom..wow laglag brief :D
yup... harder to control the drift although not impossible.Originally Posted by BlueBimmer
word of caution though... the 200SX is tail-happy when the road's surface is slippery (sand, gravel, water, etc). Enough local 200SX owners found that out.

the locally released eclipse are all A/T and comes in two colors only. Red and Black. Price is ok if its in pristine condition but i suggest to get it around the 600k mark or lower. Specs like Mags, kits, AV equipment would increase the price. If looks is what you want then the eclipse is really a head turner especially modified, but the 200sx is better in performance but is tricky in the wet. BTW all 200sx sold locally are A/T too and only 2 units sold locally of the 200sx are M/T.
well i have two eclipse. 1 1996 and 1 2001 model. they usually have good gas mileage. and so far no major mechanical defects. they still run great. but i think i recommend the toyota supra. my avatar(picture) is a supra. i'm not sure if you have supra over there in the Philippines.
nissan 200sx for 500-650k php? that's too expensive i think. i can get a 200sx over here for a cheap price. plus we don't give so much attention to them over here in cali.
thats becos the 200sx they are talking about is the Sylvia(S13,S14) that comes with SR20DET engine. not the sentra you are thinking of ;).
