    Trust me, hindi aerodynamic masyado ang Alty hehe, wind noise is quite apparent pag di head-on yung hangin.

    0.27, di 0.29? That's without skirts, though, right? The Lynx is 0.29 (OT again) without the RS skirts, and you can really tell... wind noise is minimal.


    Road noise is another matter, though.

    Anyone know the cd of the 626? That one feels like a slippery car.

    Galant is 0.29 actually stock... Ewan ko lang yung may skirt coz they dont test it with skirt naman kahit OEM

    0.32 lang ang 626? bummer... maybe it's the long sloping hood...

    relatively matarik ang windshield ng alty, and the bumper bottoms are just flat... labo din nila, they made the car look like an egg, tapos they don't finish the design sa baba para gumanda flow ng line...

    kung tinanggal mo gulong ng altima parang mouse ng PC ang itsura.

    I should know, I drive one hahahah...

    OK nga yung Hyundai Tuburon, test drove it when it was launched sa US back in the mid 90s, apart from the rental car-feel ng interior, the thing drove really well.

    0.29 nga pala yung galant, kaya pala in my mind it also sounded correct when niky mentioned it. i think this cd also applied to the super saloon variant since the cd figure (as per the brochure of the galant then) was common under the headings of the super saloon and vr. so i guess the skirts are just for aesthetics

    OT nagresearch ako sa 626 nung yung pa kotse ko... its 0.31 cd. kaya pansin mo it glides when cruising...its kinda quiet.

    cant believe that the rayban (7g) has 0.27 or 0.29(?)....
    i believe the most aerodynamicly efficient car circa 90s is the 95 Lexus LS400 at 0.29.

    You mean the SC400 (V8, 2-door coupe).

    The SC400 is still sought after by collectors. It certainly looked aerodynamic and would look stylish now as it did back then.

    Make that the Opel/Vauxhall Calibra, which has a coefficient of drag of only 0.26 Cd.

    I saw one of those here (an Opel). It was an intriguing but truly fugly car...

    I think the Calibra had one of the best designs of its era, can you believe this car was launched way back in 1989.

    Its clean lines still looked fresh until the car was discontinued in 1998...

    It was evetually replaced by the smaller Opel Astra Coupe...

    The Astra Coupe had a coefficient of drag of 0.28 Cd.

    no, i meant the flagship sedan...as in the Lexus LS400! i believe the SC300/400 has a cd of around 0.30+....

    i dont know how they did it but the 1st gen LS400 which is a li'l boxier than the re-engineered one but still has the basic silhouette has a shorter wheelbase, a tighter interior room and a slightly less remarkable cd of 0.31(?) i think.
    95 LS400 has 0.29 cd.

    There really aren't that many cars in the 145-150hp range worth noting.

    I stand by the turbocharged 4 Mazda MX6/Ford Probe GT of the late 80's/early 90's. 145hp/190 lb-ft torque. 0-60mph in 7 seconds flat, 1/4 mile *15.6 sec (C&D Magazine) with excellent gas mileage to boot. There aren't many 150hp or lower cars that could achieve that kind of performance, esp for a 2+2 coupe.
