There's someone asking about the price of the 1999 Daewoo Espero he is planning to sell. See CAR TALK forum.

May 31st, 2006 07:33 AM #5that's a very tight budget for the year model na gusto mo. even if makahanap ka man ng pasok sa budget mo, ang tanong mo next is kung sariwa pa nga ba talaga yung unit.
I'm saying this because minsan mas sariwa pa yung older model than a newer model being sold at a lower price.
pero to answer your question, your best bet would be the low end model of 323, kia pride and daewoo. mahihirapan ka pa kasi makahanap ng sentra, toyota or mitsu with your budget eh lalo na 150k lang yan. kung makahanp ka man...mag-isip ka muna kung bakit mababa ang benta sayo. :D

Should be around 150k, but considering the damage, sounds right. PS ba?
RE: original post. I often discourage people from looking at cars unless they have at least 200k in cash. At 150k, most cars you're looking at are of an age where things need to be fixed, so that extra 50k will come in handy.
That's unless we're talking Kia Prides. In which case, you can buy and fix one for under 100k...
