please help po. kukuha po kasi kami ng vios 1.3 j.. ano po ang mga kaibahan ni to sa 1.3 e na vios din.. ano po pangit dito? ano po dapat ko i-check once kukunin na po namin yung unit? at ano po ang pinaka-ok na toyota dealer. NCR lang po sana. ok pa ba yung 1.3 j? madami pa po akong gusto itanong hindi ko lang po masabi. please po paki-sabi po lahat ng info about the car.. thank you very much!

J-variant -> eto yung entry level for Vios, same engine specs from E variant

E variant -> eto yung next base model with some minor details lang sa exterior and interiors

ano po yung wiper ng j variant? ano kaibahan sa e variant?

sa tingin po ba ninyo ok na po yung j variant bilhin?or honda city? kailangan ko po kasi ng car for school. perfect for everyday, reliable, durable, at sobrang tipid sa gas. thank you in advance sa lahat.

Parehas ang wiper sa lahat ng Vios, kahit man J , E , o G variant. Sa G and E variants merong "intermittent" control whereas in the J variant it is only "mist" that is available. But they use the same wiper (stalk and rubber, etc..) across all variants.

Kung bibili ka na ngayon, parang mas-ok para sa akin ang Vios 1.3J.

I'd get the Vios E for one main reason: ABS... the power windows and stuff are added value as well.

I initially wanted to get an Avanza... (fc is not good, underpowered auv)

then I considered Vios J... (fc is better than Avanza but probably not as good as Vios gen 1 as gen 2 is heavier by *100kg. Another major consideration are the interior, power features, alarm, wheels, safety features)

so, I considered Vios E... (upon reading the papers, I learned the Yaris w/ P50k less.

finally, I bought the Yaris... (it has a lot of advantages than the Vios E. There's a thread here comparing Yaris 1.5 and Vios 1.3 E. The Yaris has a great room for luggage, I tried loading two (2) boxes of computer monitors + two (2) big ice cream styros already)

I had no regrets buying my Yaris.

For the additional P69K, i'd get the E version. OEM power windows, ABS, keyless entry and the alloy rims justify the difference, well at least to me. ABS is indeed an essential safety feature. Should you decide to trade in your stock mags, the alloy rims will fetch a higher trade in price compared to the steel wheels. You'd probably want to upgrade the keyless entry with a more active alarm. As to upgrading manual windows to power windows, I would still think the OEM power window assembly is more durable compared to those sourced elsewhere.

The only thing i dont like to the E is the ABS. I want my car raw, pure human.

But looking at it E is better Value.

For people who are not very good in regulating pedal pressure during heavy braking, ABS is a blessing and can save their life.

2 years ago pagkakatanda ko ang difference ng J sa E ay 30k. With that 30k difference malaking halaga sa akin iyon. So ang ginawa ko kumuha na lang ako ng J. The J variant is a reliable car.

Eto features ng E na wala sa J.

Power windows
Power locks
Keyless entry
Tachometer
Mags na maganda

Sa akin ok lang sa akin na wala ako ng mga features na iyon.

Power Windows and locks - less karga sa batterya, less ang gastos pag nasira ito.
Tachometer - I drive frugally and alam ko naman kung kailan na dapat ishift so hindi ko na din kailangan nito.
Keyless Entry - pwede naman isusi ng manual so ok lang sa akin.

Ang ginawa ko para medyo maayos tignan ang gulong, pinakabitan ko lang ng mags. 10k ang nagastos ko noon sa mags meron pa akong 20k. Iyong 20k ininvest ko na lang. Anyway it depends on your needs and your priorities. Kaya din naman iyong E variant kaya lang sa needs ko nasasayangan lang ako to shell out an additional 30k.
