1.6 MT.. Elantra, Lancer, or Altis?

hi mga gurus, my friend wants some help..between the three..Elantra Lancer or Altis,, ang top priority niya is low maintenance cost and fuel efficiency? ano po ba maipapayo niyo? need some help mga gurus..thanks..nevermind the looks..

is it more fuel efficient and mas mura maintenance? more or less 100kms per day po kasi yung biyahe niya.. ayos naman looks ng altis pag naka18s na rims and drop pero pogi talaga ung elantra and lancer..

1.6 nakamatic ako eh. i cant speak for mixed conditions kasi city driving lang talaga ako but ill try. my route is e. rodriguez to espanya. so tadtad ng stoplights and laging matraffic. i get 6km/l then pagsaktong traffic like lets say sa EDSA na mabagal pero tuloy tuloy from cubao to makati its an easy 8km/l. pagmadaling araw naman like 1am sa edsa i get 11-12km/l. once palang ako nagout of town using the car. pauwi galing batangas at a constant speed of around 80-100kmph i got 17km/l. pagmanual masmaganda pa fuel consumption ng mga 1km/l siguro. i say it has good fuel economy. ive driven a lot of other cars before including 2 generations of civics and a previous gen lancer. dito ako naging pinakamatipid and im not really light footed.

Naku wag sasabihin mahal maintain elantra, marami magagalit sa hirit na yan.

Edit: btt, ill take the lancer from the choices but altis is also a great pick. Can't go wrong with those two.

i have an altis as my daily service; boring siya i-drive, medyo tahimik kasi masyado and talagang comfort yung binibigay niya. i think kung gusto mo ng sporty feel and yung looks na parang papatay ka, go with lancer. otherwise kung gusto mo ng simpleng buhay, steady porma, altis is your bet. my gas consumption with everyday city driving (traffic here and there) usually mga 8-9 km/l (running anywhere 50-80). kapag umabot ako ng expressway siguro kinakaya mga 12-13 km/l when i cruise anywhere 100-130. 1.6V AT pala yung unit.

i also have a previous gen lancer and maintenance i think more or less pareho lang naman yung dalawa, depende lang sa kailangang ipagawa (kung major PMS).

elantra i wouldn't really know, haven't owned a hyundai yet. muntik na kami bumili ng eon recently but will get the mirage g4 instead.

Sir I believe nagpost ka na din sa MLPH dun pa mismo sa thread ng FC ng EX. Maganda siguro ibackread mo yung thread na yun madami ka din mababasa dun, ibat ibang route and condition.

Anyway BTT, eto din ang mga choices ko before but I ended up with the Lancer. And I'm proud to say na wala akong pagsisisi. Binanggit mo yung nevermind the looks pero based sa mga comments mo, mukhang may factor sayo ang porma. Kahit sabihin nating pwede pormahan yung tatlo, ang tanong ano ba yung mas maraming choices or aftermarket parts/mods? Kung sa porma siguro Lancer. Stock to stock. Maganda na Elantra, este pogi pala. hehe Pero mabilis nakakasawa itsura niya. Ngayon sobrang feminine na dating sakin ng Elantra, no offense. Yung Altis mukhang boring nga hehe

Kelangan na ba talaga ngayon? Baka pwedeng makapaghintay pa naman. Darating na ata sa December yung next-gen Corolla. Astig na rin ang porma (parang ginaya nga sa Lancer EX yung harapan, hehe).

It might be worth the wait.
