looks- swift (mukha nga lang mini-cooper, which i don't like....walang originality)
    interior- jazz
overall performance- jazz, few notch higher, but swift also good
    resale value- jazz

lalo "suzuki changan" china manufacturer ng swift, they have the reputation for producing second rated cars here in china.....kaya hindi mabili swift d2 sa shenzhen...alam nila kalidad ng suzuki changan!!! IMO

Japan talaga galing yung Swift dito sa Pinas. Ilang beses ko na tinignan ang Swift and noticed na meron Japan something on the windshield.

Holeshot, yung suzuki swift dun sa canada is Chevy Aveo based.

Suzuki Swift that are sold here are imported from Japan according to my friend who works for Suzuki Phils.

He started about 2 car lengths ahead of me. We 'raced' in light traffic (about 9pm) for about 3-4 mins. Everytime, I would haul his car in and overtake him easily, then slow down due to light traffic ( i didnt wanna take the shoulder) and he would find a space in the traffic to go past me by a few car lengths. No problem, just downshift on the CVT and I would haul him in VERY easily again --- I could hear his engine screaming when I would go past him. Prime example: there is a long left then right hander (before it opens into a straightaway) near Market Market (Northward bound).... I was able to accelerate from the light traffic position to about 140-150 kmh here. Iwan siya by maybe 6 - 7 car lengths (no cars in between us that time to block him). Im sure he was pissed at me hahahaha. after awhile I got tired of the whole game and purposely braked in one of the long straights before a stoplight so he could catch-up. Hataw siya and of course since I was braking... he overtook me. I didnt bother to race anymore. We both knew who won hehehehe.

Thanks carlo for the info.

i really dont know why they are saying na galing china yung swift dito pero it might be true, though again, my friend who works as the Promotions manager in SUzuki Phils told me before the launching of the Swift here is that it will be imported CBU from Japan.

Mga 55 to 60 yr old ang estimate ko. Napatingen talaga.

Raul, who misunderstood me sir. Wala ako hilig sa older or even oldest chick. What I was trying to say is that normally, older or elderly persons don't care about cars. They don't seem to appreciate good looking cars. But I was surprise to see these old ladies smiling and talking about the swift. Nothing more

You didn't have to explain man, it was clear what you meant, otherwise I wouldn't have made the joke. Just keeping things light. :hippie:

Thanks sir pero wala pa e. Baka maging bato hehe. I know that performance wise, it would be probably wiser to get a Vios or a Jazz. But hey, let's face it! 60% of our decision is based on looks which Swift definitely has.
