i currently own a gen2 crv and I was thinking of selling it and purchasing an 04 everest, My question is, is the ride of the everest bouncier than my current 10 seater crv? With the everest im getting a roomier and bigger vehicle plus lesser fuel consumption. People are telling me that the ride of the everest is really bouncy, You guys think this bounciness is worth the trade off? tia

if you need the space, it's worth it. otherwise, keep the CRV,

Yes, i think it worth it if you can sell your CRV for a good price and manage to get an Everest in very good condition for a bargain.

We get around 7-8km/L with our 4x2 Everest a/t in the city traffic... hard highway driving will get around 9++ and easy highway driving will get 10-11km/L.

On the ride, we added Old Man Emu shocks and it did quite well in making it better.

For my tastes and for our conditons i'd definitely get it over the CR-V.

    if you need...

    more space
    decent off-road capability
    better fuel consumption

    then go for the everest

though you'll be taking a hit at on-road performance (acceleration, handling, ride, etc.)

thanks guys for the comments. My primary reason for upgrading is the space as the crv is getting cramped for my family. Plus added bonus na yung higher ground clearance kasi flooded parati streets namin. Can anybody here compare the ride between the two, sobrang tagtag daw yung everest compared sa crv. I used to own a ranger trekker and medyo matagtag for my wife pero ok lang sa akin. Heard that mas malambot ride ng everest compared sa ranger

compared to the ranger... mas ok ng konti ang everest.

but still, the cr-v is more refined.
