Feroza Philippines was born from a group of feroza enthusiast through the internet, a yahoogroup message board with url: groups.yahoo.com/groups/feroza-ph through the efforts of the founder and owner of the yahoogroup.
Jay-R Pinon.
The first feroza-ph yahoogroups message was on feb of 2003. which started with a few feroza enthusiast, a few years after Jay-R bought his blue tazmanian feroza from a good friend and together with some close friends decided to make Feroza Philippines an independent group.
Its the only existing picture we have that proves only a few ferozas attended the first eb. but after this, every member got enthusiastic and active.
The logo, designed by honorary member Arch. Jason Jamias was the official logo of the club. in a few months that same year, everyone voted for a club sticker and on aug. 13, 2007 initially 50pcs was produced.
Around September-October 2007 50Pcs of the first limited edition Feroza-ph shirt was produced. with the help of Veejay Del Rosario.
December 3rd wk 2007 was the first Christmas Party of the club, here every member enjoys the camaraderie and friendship offered by the club.
Feroza philippines was officially on the road. distributing flyers to non member motorist driving a feroza.
from 10 owner-members last feb 2007 the membership grew
and interested owners came to register through the yahoogroups message board.
When 4x4 Philippines gave us a section in the mudpit area, Feroza Philippines got very active. more new feroza friends who have other rigs bought a feroza and joined thanks to the 4x4ph joined.
We held monthly Get together every 3rd Saturday of the month, and after a year, The great Feroza Roadtrip was born on May 18, 2008. in a few weeks it was followed by another trail/roadtrip and its now a monthly activity that Feroza owners of the club enjoy.
Our friend, Benson of inline motors and Dale Abenojar guides us whenever there are major trails. they teach us what to do and how to do it right.
Feroza-ph enjoyed their first media exposure through GMA kapuso Jessica Soho reports last July 2007.
On Aug 20, 2008, Rhod a member from Cebu created www.feroza-ph.tk
People, if you own or love a feroza, Feroza Philippines is inviting you. just logon and register at feroza-ph.tk
or call our membership number: 09233201680
Benson of inline motors and jfj texted me and invited me to join them as they were requested to guide the feroza club to puray. I agreed to join because i've already been there once before and knowing that there were a lot of river crossings made it all the more exciting because of the downpour of the past several days. It was just a bit unfortunate that i had a prior commitment for lunch so i had to cut my trip short and peel away from the group early.
photos and text from terence capocyan of 4x4ph.
we went to Puray via way to Payatas
i think about 20-30 minutes on road travel from Commonwealth Avenue
we were 11 ba or 12 hehe
Ferozas, Starada, Samurai, Jimny, Prado, Jeep
when we arrived at the first river to cross
we found out that the water level was up to hips
we kinda hesitated because some of our members only have minor lift via bigger tires
so we asked a resident if there is another way to Puray
the owner of the rigs was asked if they are willing to go thru the river
but we all agreed to take the much easier way and reserve the river crossing when we go home
we found out that all the part of the river that we are going to cross has the same water level
here some pictures
