Particularly car clubs who are of the one-make (or one-make, one-model) types who have online forums (who doesn't nowadays, right?). What are your particular clubs' preferences? I would think that listing them in one go here would be time-consuming plus incomplete so let's just talk about them as they come up.
Let me start with say, site sponsorships and affiliations. Would you prefer to be affiliated to your cars' makers (say for discount purposes, etc.) or have your site hosting, etc. sponsored in part or full? Would this constitute your loss of "freedom of expression" should somebody start off a thread/s about "unprofessional" practices in their dealerships, etc? I hope not, 'coz IMHO, if they are "watching" and the rant isn't baseless, I would think it would actually be beneficial -- as a customer feedback sort of thing. So what do you guys think?
