    Yup, an m/t will definitely put out more power at the wheels; a torque converter really saps up HP.

    Ano po bang concerns with regards sa tdci vs FD? And if ever what are the things to look out for upon checking yung TDCI? pano din po ba nalalaman kung nabaha?

    The TDCi is a good engine. I have never heard of any lemon reports so far. But then try to stay away from the high mileage units, there may be lots of stuff needing replacement, and commonrail engine parts ain't cheap. As with any turbo diesel, check if the turbo is being cooled down after hard/long driving. If this is not practiced, premature turbo breakdown is expected, as experienced by many Accent CRDi cab drivers.
