Kapag ito maswertehan na makuha sa dealer sira na break in ng makina.

You can run over 100 kph without over-revving the car. 120 kph in a modern car is just around 3000 rpm.

What you should watch out for during the first 1000 km is unnecessarily hard acceleration and redlining the engine.

All the brand new cars I've owned, I drove past 100 kph during the first 1000 km and I have never had any problems.

It's true that a majority of cars today are already delivered via carriers. However, even if they drove the car from Batangas/Laguna to the dealership, they can hide the mileage by simply disconnecting the odometer.

Couple of occasions na sa slex/star, cruising ako around 100-120 and they'll blew past me. I assume easy 160kph-180kph speed nila with matching hazard lights on. Usually around 1am ko sila nakakasabay from montero to mux, etc... I wont be surprised if pedal to metal(redline) if matic or powershifting if using manual gawa nila.

Being in a convoy of 4-8 cars doesnt help as well, na parang nag hahabulan pa silang magkukumpare parang ahas sa daan and squeezing every bit of rpm on the engine or gusto lang nila mauwi maaga or may quota sila at babalik ulit batangas.

10-20Km is acceptable for me. Car carriers should be mandatory for all dealers regardless of brand.

    Hi katsikot,

I will be buying isuzu mux sa isabela, but natakot ako kasi sabi ng SA iddrive lang daw yung sasakyan from Cabanutuan to BMD Cauayan Isabela. Ang distance nun is 250KM... acceptable ba yun? Is it normal na idrive nila ang sasakyan ng ganun kalayo? TIA

i don't know... if they were charging an outrageous out-of-town delivery fee, i would like it delivered to me on a flat truck.

Why not get it yourself? Go there in the morning, you have all the time to inspect. Pwede mo din ibalik kaagad kapag nay problema sa start ng road trip mo pabalik

12 years ago... May friend ako sa logistics...

Imported Toyota and Nissan are driven from Batangas to the dealership... Honda and Mitsubishi were loaded in a truck...

Port of origin to Car Carrier is driven, driven din yung unloading sa barko...

out of topic lang. ask ko lang kung hinaharurot na nung nagdedeliver yung kotse sa highway, tapos na ma break in sa factory yung mga bagong kotse ngayon? kais may nakita ako dati kasi samin may nakapaskil pa salikod ng kotse "break in" tapos hindi naman mabilis takbo.

siyempre walang paki yung mga driver, it's not their car anyway the dealer doesn't care also, all they want is to sell you a car but of course they don't want to get into an accident also

cars aren't broken-in at the factory unless it's an acura NSX
