Hi guys. Im looking for a sedan/suv that is worth buying. Brand new or 2nd hand. Any suggestion? Thinking of the new altis. My mother is the one who's gonna use the car. Maximum budget of 1.4m

We just sold our sorento and toyota yaris. We already have montero, 2007 tucson

    1. Buy local automotive magazine
    2. Open magazine, go straight to the last pages into the pricelist
    3. List down all cars within you budget
    4. Eliminate undesirable cars
    4. Show choices to mom

reviews on automotive sites like Top Gear Philippines and Autoindustiya will add some ideas. Not to mention the fun of reading peoples bickering comments just below those reviews.

Best to ask your mother herself first. What are her preferences? Does she particularly like a certain car? Does it have to be supremely comfortable? Exceptionally fuel efficient?

I'd suggest you consider the Kia Soul or Carens CRDi. Excellent engines, car-like ride, lots of space, not overly tall...

    Prepared ng mother mo altis?

Ok din yan, pero sa budget mo na 1.4M pwede na mga crossover!

Sa counter part ng altis, pwede ang civic, lancer...

Forester among the 4. As long as fuel consumption isn't a major concern.

I get 6-7 km/liter in Makati rush hour traffic. And 12 km/liter on the highway.

+ 1 on the Forester, though another consideration will be the Mazda CX-5.

An coworker tells me their Forester 2.0L NA averages around 9 km/L on mixed driving conditions. They are happy with its FC as they get about the same FC with their old Civic FD 1.8L.

Why not include Sylphy on your choices? I've heard great news regarding their TOTL model.

Forester NA or the XV premium. CX-5 would also be a good 'for her' car.

I suggest the Forester it's a nice suv and have higher ground clearance than the XV
if she wants a diesel-fed the or gas-fed the Fortuner will be a nice alternative
