I heard the audio system on the Sportage sounds better but that the Tucson has a better head unit.

The Tucson went for the more conservative styling whereas the Sportage went for the more sporty, yet polarizing, looks.

I wonder which one had better handling and features?

It's hard to choose between twins. Choice of looks is rather subjective. I guess it's a matter which one has a better access to parts and service.
