    Hi everyone,

I usually check a mix of online marketplaces and local dealerships. Some options I’ve found reliable are:

Online platforms: Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Autotrader

Certified used car dealerships – they often offer warranties and vehicle history reports

Word of mouth / referrals – sometimes friends or colleagues know someone selling a well-maintained car

It really helps to inspect the car thoroughly, take a test drive, and check the service history before making any decisions.

What about you all? Any favorite places or tips for buying used cars safely?

"swap", but with adequate documentation, are fine.
unlike real estate, the authorities don't really care how much you paid for the car.

AFAIK it's implemented two separate deeds of sale and the difference in the values of the cars is the amount of money that actually changes hands.

I've gotten several used cars already, however they are not from any dealer or middlemen. Usually owner sellers or family friends. Saves a lot of headache and fees whatsoever.
