Trusted mechanic

I'm planning to buy a second hand car, most of the advises here is to bring along a trusted mechanic when checking out the car. Pero kung personally wala akong kilala, saan ako pwede kumuha ng pwedeng isama? How much usually yung rate nila? Thanks

Up For this question... im still wondering what the going rate is for a mechanic na isasama mo for the day. Parang how do we compensate them kung hahatakin natin sila sa trabaho nila.
