May 9th, 2025 11:48 AM #111Was able to process this last Oct.
Ang hassle was from HPG and the Insurance part.
Nung bumili sana ako ng TPL, hindi makaconnect yung TPL seller (MLhuillier and Cebuana Lhuillier) sa system ng LTO.
If you process HPG first tapos di ka pala makapagsecure ng TPL, bye bye HPG clearance, pila ka ulit.
HPG clearance validity is only good for 7 days.
I suggest you buy the TPL first or ask for Endorsement Letter of the insurance provider of your car's existing TPL insurance before processing HPG.
Dahil cgro the registration of the car he/she bought was from other LTO district.
Mas hassle din to, dapat may iprocess ka daw dun sa LTO district where the car was registered.
If same LTO district lang naka register yung nabili mong car, then goods, you wont encounter this problem.

Sa HPG lang matagal yan. Basta complete and documents mo mabilis lang sa LTO yan. HPG talaga matagal kasi kasama Landbank payment nga as mentioned and good for 7 days lang yan. Madami pila kasi dun at may stencil-stencil pa. At least sa experiences ko.
Get the indorsement from the Insurance company or get a new one if malapit na din mag-expire para sa name mo na.Fasten your seatbelt! Or else...Driven To Thrill!

May 9th, 2025 03:56 PM #113Thanks for your replies. Sa July rehistro ng car, so sabay ko na lang dun pag transfer? Or better hiwalay? Kasi sa village may nagpupunta na LTO for registrations, but I doubt they can do transfer of ownership.

May 9th, 2025 04:23 PM #114I registered my car earlier before it expires (4mos before the expiry).
Better to do it early po.
Because the issuance of the new registration might take time.
Baka di nyo magamit ang car dahil naghihintay pa kayo sa new registration.
Also, baka maantala ang renewal dahil hihintayin pa new reg before it can be renewed.
Your choice po, pwd naman isabay but that's the thing I pointed out are the risk if isabay mo.

8:00AM duon na ako at natapos around 9:30AM. medyo natagalan pa yun kasi 8:30AM pa open yung Landbank, meron branch duon mismo. that was 2 yrs ago, parang konti pa lang duon sa crame, not sure ngayon

June 2nd, 2025 12:06 PM #117The agency also stated that it will create a downloadable Pro-Forma document to assist those who have lost their Deed of Sale (DOS), have expired IDs attached to it, or can no longer contact the previous owner. To use this, individuals will need to download the form, attach a photograph of themselves holding a current newspaper showing the date alongside the vehicle, have the form notarized, and then upload it to the LTO portal.
I understand that the purpose is to make sure the date is taken from when the owner start the registration process.
And the 20 day period kicks-in.
The LTO clarified that the 20-day period is for starting the transfer, with the completion deadline set at the vehicle’s renewal date.
