Things To Do / Replace After Buying A Second Hand Car

Hello tsikot forumers / admins!

After months of hunting for our very first car, finally nakabili na kami. What we got is a 2005 Vios 1.5g A/T face lifted model with 83K on its odo. Like what people suggested here we brought along a mechanic with us and when we got his ok, kinuha na namin. Almost two weeks na ngayon sa amin yung oto and happy naman ako sa performance.

Now I would like to ask again for your help kung ano ang mga dapat kong unahin para ma-maintain ko ng maayos yung sasakyan like change oil? ATF, brake pads etc and magkano yung cost.

Ask the owner if he's done with the 80k PMS. If he is, then just change the oil & filter for a peace of mind, regular PMS lang.

Pero kung hindi pa, magpa-80k kms PMS ka sa CASA. Dami lang papalitan kasi kapag 80k na mileage, magastos.

kung makukuha mo yung mismong job order ng mga previous na PMS at mga repairs na ginawa mas ok. Ituloy mo na lang yung PMS.

Tsaka ipa full detail mo. Para maging malinis na malinis at mukhang bago ulit.

that's a tough question to answer.
in my case, i "case" my seller, and if i feel he's on the up and up... wala. i just drive the car.
if i feel my seller isn't "up to stuff", then i walk away and look for another car.
in the first place, i consider cars as tools.. to be used and not to be worshiped..

ung sa toyota manila bay meron sila naka post na mandatory works with reference sa odo reading mo, saka kung meron ka ipapagawa pwede mo panoorin at kausapin ung mechanic, tawag ka lang at least 2 days before para magpaschedule, pag walk-in lang baka maghapon ka dun

Sir me bayad ba kung pa-check ko lang and then like yung sinasabi ng iba sa labas ko bilhin yung materials at ipa-trabaho?

Nung tsinek kasi ng kasama naming mekaniko sabi nya okay pa daw ang langis. Pinaangat ko din dun sa motorpool ng hipag ko kasi meron sila (they're into taxi business) ok pa din daw lahat ng pang-ilalim. Ako naman gusto ko papalitan lahat ng dapat i-maintain para me sarili akong record kung kelan ulit next na pa-check ko.

Me idea ba kayo kung saan me malapit na Toyota casa bandang Caloocan?

Toyota Balintawak-North Edsa. Medyo malapit yan sa Honda Kal at halos katabi lang ng SM North.
