Between a PPV and a midsizer, mas status symbol pa rin for me ang midsize sedan.

Kung naka-Fortuner ka, there's a chance you're buying it because it's practical, durable, and efficient. Marami ring hindi mayaman pero naka-Fortuner kasi inutang and yun lang yung sasakyan ng buong angkan.

If you have a Camry, it most likely means you can afford the dismal fuel consumption, low resale value, and high maintenance. Wala rin akong nakikita masyadong pa-social climber na naka-Camry.

Now that i have collected suvs, gusto ko mag-kolek ng either Komatsu or Caterpillar vehicles to secure my future. Since im planning to build a big garage naman sa future, im thinking why not buy all the vehicles of constructicons. Ewan ko hinde alam pero may nakikita ako sa future dito, its better to invest money on this coz right now the mood is build build therefore all are investig on real estate.

I in turn will buy construction equipments. Ano kaya ok to noh

Right now. Meron naman kami L300FB and Isuzu NKR. It's just sitting there for the next project. One thing i noticed though, even if sitting and even if workingm these ovehicles get buy offers na hindi nag-depreciate. Would you believe my L300FB is getting an offer of 350k, eh 250k lang bile ko dun coz a friend migrated urgently abroad.

i'm looking at it from a pop culture perspective

i know about the fuel consumption and fast depreciation of mid-size sedans (Camry/Accord) and luxury sedans (Mercedes E/S, BMW 5/7)

pinoy mentality --> SUV = sosyal

pinoys usually look at the image and don't think about what's going on beneath the image

kahit hinuhulugan mo ung fortuner/monterosport mo, iba lang dating mo pag ganyan ang car mo

    kaya mabenta eh

people want the "respect" that comes with those vehicles

Oo nga, as a status symbol nga, mas may dating pa rin midsize kaysa SUV. Between sa naka-Fortuner at naka-Camry, mas respectable pa rin Camry.

Most first owners of those cars don't really care about resale value. Tanggap na nila mababa resale ng midsize but they buy it anyway. Konti lang yun, hundreds vs tens of thousands of PPV buyers.
