I am purchasing my first car from Auto Stuff Inc. in Sta Mesa Heights QC. It is a pre-owned 09 Chevrolet Captiva. I'm ready to take the deal. Nag-agree na din both parties sa payment terms which is in cash, two gives. Yung sasakyan ay nakapangalan sa ibang tao, which according to the dealer, is their family friend. I'm just making sure na hindi ako maloloko, although I think reputable naman yung car dealer. According to them, sila na bahala sa pagasikaso ng mga papeles. Just want to ask if these are the right steps to take:

    1. On my first payment, they will prepare a conditional sales agreement on which the seller and myself will sign.
    4. Yung notarized deed of sale makukuha ko when I pay fully for the vehicle.
    5. I can already take the vehicle home after the first give, depending on what is stated in the conditional sales agreement.

THANKS!!

How so po? Ok lang ba yun? Yung dealer na maga-act on behalf nung seller? Ganun ba yun? Opinion lang kasi to nung tito kong abogado.

the usual process would just be to sign an open deed of sale. tapos sa documents, check mo kung kanino nakapangalan, dapat dun din ang pangalan ng open DOS. an ID of the original owner should also be present and be given to you with the original OR/CR.

    imho.

Salamat dito.

Tama?

Bukod sa orig OR, orig CR, orig deed of sale, ID ng current owner or seller ano pa documents kailangan ko icheck?

Sensya na sa dami ng tanong ko. Naninigurado lang ako kasi hard-earned money ko ang involved, besides first time ko bumili at ayoko din magmukang noob sa seller at dealer. Kindly guide me. Thank you tsikoters!

pero since makukuha mo naman yung oto, ok na yung conditional sales agreement, receipt of your payment and the original OR/CR.
make sure walang alarm sa LTO ha?
