    nagpa renew ng oto barkada ko, ni reject registration nya due to LETAS ALARM FOUND...ano un?!?!?! :confused:

    may alarm barkada ko sa oto tapos may auto start, un kaya un? and bakit bawal alarm? or code lang nila un o ano?

    may nakaka alam po ba neto?!

    car nung friend ko is 1997 mazda

    got this from the net

    LETAS is important for the validation of driver's licenses and motor vehicles. This online connectivity will enable LTO offices nationwide to check with LETAS for alarms and apprehensions before a motor vehicle is registered or a driver's license is issued. With this, traffic discipline and road safety are expected to improve significantly and registration of stolen vehicles will be reduced, if not eliminated.

    if walang nag report na stolen yung car (which i assume wala naman), malamang may traffic violation na nakunan ng MMDA ng picture -- no contact apprehension thing.

    so, basta na lang ganun... ayaw i-register yung oto? palagay ko hindi dapat ganun. wala bang penalties na sinabi? baka naman pwedeng malaman ang tamang gawin tungkol dyan... very interested to know. o baka naman kaya may "areglo" na gustong mangyari? nagtatanong lang po...

    thanks guys! malamang traffic violation kse tagal na sa barkada ko yung oto e, 1st owner nun is yung kuya nya, nakuha yung oto kse company car un ng kuya nya.

    tsk tsk, ganun na lang ba basta basta un? nde sasabihin kung ano gagawin? basta nde na lang ire register?

    Baka hihingi ka ng clearance sa MMDA or LETAS. (Ako kasi nung nag-renew ng license pinakuha ako ng clearance from MMDA. Wala namang violation. Grr!)

    kulang lang sa lagay yan... buti na lang kami may taga-ayos ng rehistro, car transfer, license, etc... kaso minsan tatagain ka rin...

    did you ask on why there was an alarm on the car?.. tawagan mo yung LETAS. or what ever organization na naglagay ng hold order dyan.. tapos inquire ka kung baket.. then you'll know why.. wag ka muna magpadala sa mga pangongotong.. tignan mo muna.. baka naman talagang may legit na problema.

    naka red flag ang auto nyo for an alleged unpaid traffic violation or was possibly reported as carnapped.

    check with the MMDA main office if there is a pending TVR.

    tama si hboy, kaya naman yan ayusin sa tamang paraan. hindi naman sagot ang pagpapadulas everytime.
