Honda Jazz 1.5 A/T vs. Suzuki Swift 1.5 A/T

ellow, im planning to buy a compact car... honda jazz 1.5L a/t and suzuki swift 1.5L a/t are my options... halos same specifications konti lang difference, also the prices are almost the same... can you share me your opinions and suggestions... thanks

Go for the Jazz if you intend to resell it in 4 to five years. Kahit siguro 10 years mo pa gamitin ang unit, still go for Jazz.

Go for the City. Since kakalabas lang ng modelo na yan. In 5 years, di ka pa maluluma. Unlike yung 09 na jazz halos same lang ng past models, konti lang nabago. For FC, mas malakas ng konting konti lang ang City, pero tipid ka pa rin sa 1.3 variant nila. And if you're going for the AT, I suggest you take the 1.5E ng city or 1.5V ng Jazz. For the test drive I conducted, bitin sakin yung 1.3S AT ng City nila, siguro dahil I was craving for the speed, 4K lang difference ng City and Jazz.

Jazz tipid sa gas, malaki ang space sa likod at trunk..mahal nga lang over price sya para sa category nya

first time i saw a post declaring a swift as a gas guzzler it's a 1500 vvti engine and the worst fc i've recorded over a 2 year period is 12km/l.

you're right about the space though, not as generous as the jazz. but not too bad...i'm 6'1" and can still drive comfortably with a passenger behind me. i even feel more cramped on a focus

no offense bro, pero 3 of my officemates owns swift AT, i don't want to argue though, coz i don't own one, i was 1 day shy of actually of getting the car (swift AT) * suzuki balintawak..buti nalang something went wrong with the bank's computation kaya nagka roon ako ng dahilan not to get it.

crush ko yang swift noon. it has a "ready to race" look. but when i had a chance to inspect one the trunk is just so tiny. and besides if you look under the hood the new jazz has way more power than swift, and even the old one does. the "ready to race" look always gets behind with the engine with more horses here goes that looks doesn't really says it all. what inside is more important. at gwapo din naman ang jazz.

pero its the "bare" civic. top end is better than bare model. you have more features and stuff. but it all depends to you though.

Well better have the fatter cake than the fatter icing. Fatter cake being the Civic and the high end Jazz the fatter icing. And the low end Civic is not that bare power everything rin naman... You can buy accessories later, but space and comfort you can never buy those again...

thanks sa mga reply comment lang po... a high end jazz versus a low end civic... konti na nga lang idadagdag mo sa jazz my civic M/T ka na (P 8,000)... but i think best buy pa din ang jazz, considering dual airbags, 1.5L engine which is smaller and lighter so mas fuel efficient plus a paddle shift astig! and maporma din namn ang jazz

Imho we must compare the low end Civic to other cars without this added safety feature which compliment the seat belts...
