Hi everyone, I'm new here. If mali yung subforum na pinaglagyan ko nito please guide me accordingly. Anyway, we're looking into getting our 2nd car. Our existing one is a 2018 Fortuner and we're happy with it.

We're primarily looking at getting an Isuzu MU-X. My family has had good experiences with Isuzu pickups in the past, so we feel like we could trust Isuzu. How is its resale value compared to the Fortuner though? We generally don't like holding on too long to our vehicles so it's an important consideration for us. Also, kamusta kaya maintenance cost niya compared sa Fortuner?

We've also been told that you can't go wrong with an Innova, so that's also an option for us. We've also looked at MG, which was relatively new to us, and even the new Suzuki Jimny, but we're like 20th-ish in queue.

I suppose Montero, Everest and Terra are also options, but how are they when it comes to reliability, maintenance costs, and resale? If you have other recommendations, please share!

    Thanks in advance!

maintenance sa casa? its expensive. most opt to go outside...

outside casa, generally speaking maintenance cost is relatively the same as the fortuner.. fluids and filters.. even the shock absorbers. bushings brake pads. battery.

resale for Japanese diesels are higher than non japanese counterparts

Ah sa casa talaga kami nagpapa maintenance pag within warranty period pa, lalo kasi wala kaming alam sa kotse talaga . If casa kaya mas mahal maintenance ng MU-X?

So for resale same lang sila?

If sa Isuzu ka mismo gagawa ng PMS, just to give an idea nung change oil sa DMAX namin.

Isuzu Genuine Motor Oil Multi Z Plus Fully Synthetic 10W-30. Per gallon price niya is 1,409.42php, excluding VAT.

If I compare the service ng first PMS na free labor nung sa Toyota Fortuner ng kuya ko, medyo di hamak na mas mahal yung sa Isuzu Q Ave, granting na free labor pa ito, inabot na kami ng about 5k php (exact amount 5,217.40php).

If din ako nagkakamali, may reference pricing kasi sila ng PMS intervals dun sa workshop, ang MUX, mas mahal ng konti pa for regular PMS compared sa DMAX. Just FYI.
