Quick question folks! Anong better value sa dalawang ito:

    Brand new 2010 Toyota VIOS 1.3E M/T

    or

Used 2006 Honda Civic 1.8S M/T (with air intake, 30K mileage and 1:15 FC daw) worth 650K?

    TIA!

You're all right. Also, I don't need 1.8L engine din naman and the higher maintenance cost of the Civic.

    Thanks!

    15km/l ? That's BS. I even cannot reach 13km/l on my 1.8 M/T FD despite the eco-runs I do. Best I got was 11.8xx.

Kaya nga medyo nagtaas kilay ko when I saw this agent's claim of 1:15. Sales talk lang ata. And if he's doing it with this, who knows what other BS claims he'll be making for this used Civic...

    tidus, hindi yun city driving.

mixed siya ... about 60~70% highway then the remaining is city driving.

In normal driving, 14-16 km/l is perfectly possible on the highway... on the NLEX, 18-20 is a real possibility with conscientious hyper-miling.

On our Eco-run on the SLEX, we averaged 18+ km/l. And that's with traffic at the tollgates, speeding up and slowing down to do photography with our test unit (a Prius), taking a detour for drinks, and maintaining an average speed of around 80 km/h (GPS-measured).

If we didn't mess around, we probably would have gotten around 20 km/l. That's pretty freaking impressive for a heavy 1.8 liter car.

In city driving, though, the Civic is stuck between 8-10 km/l. But then, you knew that already.

Ahahahaha!

Opinion ko lang naman po. hehe.

Bnew Vios 1.3E M/T or used 06 Civic 1.8S?
