    Hello mga Sir/Madam,

Patulong po. First time ko po bibili ng car kaso po di ko alam papano iproprocess legally.

What should I do? What papers do I need to process before I pay the seller?

I'm planning to buy a car.
Do I only need a Deed Of Sale? Should we go to an attorney at a Notary Public and the attorney be the witness?

How about the ORCR of the car? should the ORCR first be transferred to my name before I pay the car? Or should I just let the ORCR stay on the seller's name until the next registration of the car as long as I have the Deed of Sale?

    Ano po dito ang tama?

    1. I should have a Deed of Sale sign both of us even no attorney as witness then I can pay the seller now?

    2. I should have a Deed of Sale sign both of us in the presence of attorney from Notary Public office, then I can pay the seller now?

    3. Option 1(having a deed-of-sale without attorney as witness), plus, let the ORCR of the car stay in the seller's name until the next registration of the car before I transfer it to my name, then I can pay the seller now?

    4. Option 2(having a deed-of-sale with attorney as witness), plus, the ORCR of the car should be transfered to my name immediately then I can pay the seller now?

may nakalimutan pa po ba ako?

Please help po sir/madam.. Paki usap po..

    Advance Thank you.
    Regards,

Witness anyone from your family, after magkapirmahan nagbayad na ako. Kapag nabayaran mo na in full payment dont forget the orig copy of ORCR.

Thank you.

Kunin mo yun Xerox copy ng CROR...then puntahan niyo kun saang LTO office nakaregister yun unit (base niyo yun district office naka lagay sa CR)...punta kayo sa records window at sabihing meron kayong gustong verify na record...pakita niyo yun xerox ng CROR at meron kayo siguro fill up ng konting info about yourself at hintaying tawagin ang pangalan niyo sa cashier para magbayad ng fee for verification...pagkatapos non balik kayo sa records window to present yun resibo ng bayad tapos ay kunin nila record para i-check niyo...afterwards kelangan niyo i-balik din sa kanya yun mv file...Good luck.
