Magkano budget mo for the van?

I'd rather recommend a previously-owned local van than the ones at Subic.

i dont really trust converted vehicles... ok lng for delivery pero kung sa family wag na lng

try to get a 2nd hand starex na lng... they are pretty decent or local Hiace or Spacegear

What's your budget dude? This will help us give suggestions.

We'd strongly advise against getting a converted van.

yun! tama yung sinabi ni kyle618...

kesa kumuha ka ng unit from subic, try looking for a 2nd hand car nalang... huwag na po converted from subic...

Since you're eyeing a people hauler, diesel is the way to go.

Toyota Hi-Ace or Mitsu L300/Space Gear suggestion ko.

Pero there are bound to be better models out there for your price. Advice ko, kuha ka ng latest issue ng Car Finder (that's what I was doing nung ala pa kong sasakyan) and check it out. Beinte pesos lang.

Yung early Starex' were known for rusting quarter panels, pero mas matibay/maganda daw yung mga bago.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

buying a converted van should not be a choice. i have seen several converted vans with broken front steering components stuck in the road. sa baguio pa yung isa. muntik ng nahulog sa bangin.

With a 300K-400K budget, you can check out big vans like the 96-98 Hiace, Urvan and L300s... or those imported Korean vans like the H100 (see similar thread on this) sobrang swak na yan. Always keep an allowance for repairs here and there since the car is already a 2nd hand unit

On the Space Gear, you can find the local ones for less than 500K depending on condition... Mga 400-500K yung range ng 98 models usually.

if you are hauling your precious one's di siguro tama na ipagkatiwala mo sa sasakyang di mo alam kung paano naconvert.

go for hiace na lang. dagdag ka lang ng konti sa budget mo. wag ka lang kukuha ng gas vriant. meron kami and medyo malakas sa gas.
