    Sir GH,
    It seems that you're quite familiar with the price of engine parts. I just want to know how much will it cost me if i will replace the cylinder head of my 90 corolla gl, instead of having a top overhaul, valves are kind of noisy already? thanks.

    am i suppose to answer you since you were addressing GH? but you quoted me ehehehehe!

    nope. i just happen to know since i canvassed last year when we replaced my erpat's 323 engine. and since i was already there i asked prices of other surplus engines (a few, not all since they were busy, too).

    i don't know the price of a surplus cylinder head though sine they sell complete engine c/w tranny only. the only loose spares i saw there were aircon compressors, starters, alternators and underchassis and steering parts.

    Sir Yebo,

    Thanks.

    mas ok kng nissan kunin mo, ksi aircon nya talaga ok, super lamig, comfortable kahit ano sitwasyon mo sa kalsada, la pa ko tint sa harap nun ha, 16 valve na dohc. at least jet nozzle lang papalitan mo para tumipid. and power steering na, i own a 1.4 ex model , power steering, central lock, power window, average ko daily city driving kng rat rat to smooth driving around 6.7 to 7.8, kng highway around 12 to 15kms/liter. pero ung 1.3 ng bayaw ko na mitsu super tulin pag arangkada, at umaabot ng 160koph max speed from manila to bicol. kng kukuha ka lang din ng mura tapos dami mo rin papaayos eh nasasayo yan kng mahilig ka talaga magkalikot...

    4A to 2E requires some creative mounting changes, or so I've heard.

    Bili ka na lang ng stock na XE/XL. Stay away from "medyo may problema ang makina". "Medyo" can mean it's eating up oil and requires an overhaul.

    totoo yun sabi ni yebo malakas nga sa gas ang lec kasi marami ako taxi na lec nakakasabay pag nagpapaayos ako ng carburador ko sa kamuning,. nagtataka ako bakit sila nandun sa pagtatanong ko pinapapalitan nila ng mas maliit na jet para tumipid daw

    so totoo pala yun na gas guzzler sya

    130K = '92-'95 Sentra 1.6L Supersaloon pwede rin.

    Just list down your choices then you look at several cars then go with what you find to yourself to be comfy with (conditions, etc...)

    i would also go with the itlog lancer, try to get the gli or glxi para you have more features than the el

    i had an el for 4 years and it served me well. kahit naka 15" rims ako and pawis steering, okay naman, just make sure na gumagalaw ka ng konti kung naga-bwelta ka

    Ghosthunter pwede na sakin yung 1.3 dahil medyo mura pero kung sa price ng 1.3 may makukuha akong 1.6 sa 1.6 nako. mga 90 year model siguro pwede na.

    Im considering 90-91 XE para medyo matipid at power steering na saka wala daw problema sa parts marami at mura. Baka kasi pag nissan sa maintenance mapunta sweldo ko at lancer (not GTi, hindi abot budget ko) medyo mabigat nga steering kc GLX tsikot ng bro-in-law ko.. Good choice na ba XE sa 120K?

    Sa totoo lang kaya malakas ang gasolina ang Nissan LEC kasi kahit na 1.3 ang makina DOHC at 16 valve siya, Habang ang corolla XL/XE , lancer EL/EX ay 1.3 SOHC 12valve kaya matipid
