one disappointment nga is about the wheels, is it possible to deal with toyota maybe bargain the wheels for bigger ones, adjusting the price maybe?? or you really have to get the job done outside and buy bigger wheels, but then what would my bro do with the orig ones. please advise.

even with bigger rims, the hilux 4x2 still looks awkward... I've seen a few with bigger rims but it still doesn't look right... maybe it's because of the lower stance / ground clearance of the 4x2 unit.

I went to toyota alabang this sunday and I saw a hilux base model displayed in their showroom. It has magwheels, fog lamps, the front bumper, grille and door handles are colored white, it also has an alarm. The whole accessories cost around 79k according to the agent. I dunno if its a good deal im not really familiar with the price outside. Maybe later someone could lend us a hand about this.

wait for the new l200 -a comfortable ride should be on the top of your list if you plan cross country trips from what i've read from the reviews on the net the new l200 triton trumps the rest of the 1 ton pick-ups out there dmax and hilux included.

So far our hilux didnt encounter any problems like what is posted in the d4d woes thread. Apparently the d4d problems occured mostly on innovas due to a faulty fuel pump system as I recall.

BTW, our odometer is now at 23,000km. Most innova owners at the d4d thread complains about the problem at around 5,000km I think? Kakatamad na back read haba na eh.

hilux 4x2 is ok lalo na recently noon nakita sko a harap ng medical city yun mga bagong service unit pickups ng Meralco, ang dami. they (Meralco) must be very confident to use these pickups for electrical wires installation.
