Yung 450k konti dagdag nalang brand new na if I were you konti ipon pa or mag 50% down ka then 1 year to pay. Sa BDO 5% something lang interest per annum.
450k pasok sa Avanza J yan, recommended ko yan kasi very practical car and newbie friendly.

Few tips palang yan.

Best if "CASA" maintained. If not, with repair/maintenance history/record.
And not all "GOOD LOOKING" cars automatically mean they're fresh and well-maintained. As shadow already mentioned, a thorough check by a trusted technician is recommended. It reduced the amount of risk on your end.

Get the 1st generation CRV, suspension and handling wise much better than it's successor (2nd generation), plus the fuel consumption of the former is better than the latter. Good luck.

Pag wala casa record wag mo kunin kasi yung 450k na budget pasok sa 2 years old and above na oto yan. Kung first owned yan kumpleto papeles nyan pati resibo nung pagkakabili, warranty booklet, spare keys, manual, etc....so dapat first owned.
Tapos kung may ahente pa another tongpats yan.

July 23rd, 2009 10:55 AM #19if fuel and maintenance cost is not an issue to you, by all means go for the crv. our crv gets 6km/ltr kaya binenta namin. i would agree with ans_lim168. i find the 1st gen crv much better in almost all aspects. just need to find a well maintained one.
if fuel and maintenance cost is an issue. i will suggest you get a 2003 up corolla altis. you'll never get wrong with this car. cheaper to maintain vs. a honda and has good fc.

> How many are you in the family? 4? 3? 6?
> Are you more of an out-going person who loves to go out of town or you`re just more of a city guy?
> Do you usually have/carry LOTS of baggage?
ANSWERS:
> If you are just 3 - 4 in the family, a sedan would be perfect for you. In that budget that you gave, you could get a very reliable and a not-so-old sedan. BUT if you are 5 or more in the family, an AUV, MPV is just perfect for you.
> IF ever you are an outgoing person, then a sedan wouldnt fit you that much since you would be traveling into far places and you could encounter not so good roads. But if you are more of a city guy, like what I said, a sedan would be much more comfortable to drive.
> Obviously, if you are 4 in the family but you`re into carrying baggage, lots of them. Then the sedan wouldnt suit your needs since it's compartment might not be enough.
SUGGESTIONS:
SEDANS
> HONDA CIVIC ( 2001-2004 )
> COROLLA ALTIS ( 2002 - 2004 )
> HONDA CITY ( 2005 - up )
> NISSAN SENTRA ( 2006 - up ) since the resale value of nissans are quite low.
> MAZDA 3 ( if kaya )
> MITSUBISHI LANCER
MPV`s / AUV`s / SUV`S / CUV`S
> TOYOTA REVO
> MITSUBISHI ADVENTURE
> HONDA CRV ( preferably 1st gen, although it`s quite old, the ride is more comfortable than the 2nd generation ; 2nd gen is a gas-guzzler )
It really depends on your needs/purpose, you know.
