the original utilitarian L300 that we are more familiar with, had either diesel or gas.
the next model, L400 or L300 exceed yata ang tawag ng iba, was in gas. i do not remember if they released a diesel version.
you better check, sir, if that unit had an engine transplant, from gas to diesel.
the original CR should indicate it.

one more thing.. those early models heated up the driver's seat pretty good..

hindi ko lang alam kung bakit mahina ang naging sales ng exceed. never talked to anybody who owned the exceed though.

iirc the sales of the versa van during that time keeps going and leaves the exceed's far behind, until they stopped the exceed's production then.

Sir may ganyan kami. 2001 model. Matibay sya. Ok ang piyesa. Same engine yan sa mga l300 versa van o l300 fb kaya madali lang. Ok na ok pa. Ang issue lang ngayong summer pag tanghaling tapat parang sauna. Wa epek ang aircon + sa nakaupo sa makina. Pag gabi ok na ok ang lamig. Haha

better get the L300 exceed van local. tawag nila dyan eh "long body". mas maganda yan sa L300 versa van. hindi din yan nag overheat tsaka hindi mainit ang upuan. mas modern yan ng konti kasi CBU from japan. aluminum radiators with plastic top kaya hindi mainit at hindi nag over heat. yan ang pinag kopyahan ng hyundai grace. very basic ang design. matigas at matatag ang body nyan
