Guys, I would like to ask your opinion regarding the Pearl White color. We're planning to buy a 2012 Toyota Innova G D4D M/T as a primary family car. Now, we're confused on what color to choose since Thermalyte silver, Black, Bronze Mica Metallic, and Pearl White are the only available color for both G and V variant. Since, kukuha lang din naman kami ng top of the line na variant, we want a color "exclusive" only for the higher variant. Thus, slashing the thermalyte silver and black since they are both available AFAIK sa lower variants (correct me if I'm wrong).

Is it worth the 15,000 pesos premium of Pearl White over the Bronze Mica Metallic? Na-love-at-first-sight yung mom ko sa Camry 2.4V na pearl white ng kapitbahay namin kaya first choice namin ang pearl white pero ayaw ng dad ko since dumihin daw and magmumukha daw silang matanda sa pearl white. isa pa, para DAW executive-wannabe ang dating.

    thanks for the inputs!

Though Altis yun and like I said, depende sa kotse, so baka sa Innova totoo yung statements mo. Pero oo, madumihin sobra. Bawat butil ng aspalto at bawat ipot ng ibon, mapapansin at mahahalata mo pag nilinis mo.

I'd get a black Innova if I were in your shoes. Hindi ko talaga trip yung pearl white na Innova, and pati yung brown hindi rin bagay IMO. Hindi naman kasi bagay sa Innova ang showy colors - it's a humdrum car that looks best with humdrum paint.

We recently bought a WP innova G AT. Over all its ok naman but the WP of toyota isnt that pearl at all even under the sunlight. Match it up with a medium tint lang coz with a darker tint nawawala yun class ng color at magmumukhang ordinary white at a far. Ayaw ko lang sa innova design is the grille parang bibig ni joker at namimili ng color. Dark color maslitaw yun joker lip ng grille design but with lighter color mas hindi mapansin.

Black color is harder to maintain compared to white.

that's why wala na sa option namin ang black since hindi naman kami ganun ka-techie pagdating pagmamaintain ng color ng sasakyan. carwash at wax lang ang alam namin. hehe!

beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
and black paint always attracts white dust, and white paint always attracts dark dust..
in my case, tamad ako. so i picked the silver innova. isang buwan nang hindi nililinis, hindi pa rin mukhang madumi..

thanks sir sa idea re: tint. how about the broze metallic? bakit niyo po pinili PW over the bronze? hindi pa kasi ako nakakakita ng PW na Innova sa malapitan. hindi ba siya katulad nung sa PW ng Camry?

For me the premium is worth it. The WP was our original choice for the Altis but it just so happened that it was not available at the time we were buying so we ended up with black. I still look longingly at cars with a WP color, regardless of model.
