My car did that, it was aux fan not working. No problem going up after it was fixed.

Idiot light knowledge was from experience. I prefer a needle or gauge, but Better nga idiot light. Kasi once it blinks... Kabahan ka na.
Needle raises a tick.

I wouldn't say "very wrong," have you tried driving fully loaded with A\C on let's say going uphill to Baguio?

Yes, I did drive to Baguio fully loaded in a City 1.5L and Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost with the aircon on. I had no problems going up to Kennon and I was able to keep an easy pace of 30 minutes going up.

Have you tried driving fully loaded at 180-200 kmh with the aircon on?

For cars with no built-in temperature gauge display, I think theses are standard dashboard warning signs. Some cars don't indicate when they are still cold but they will indicate that the temperature is climbing (blinking red) or overheated (red). Most of the small Honda cars (City, Jazz, etc) are like this.

Unless of course the manufacturer cheap out on their dashboard display and you are left clueless when your engine is on the verge of overheating.

Wala bang ganyan yung mga T-badge cars mo, doc? Do they have those analog temperature gauges?

No-no for me yung walang temperature gauge. I was pissed off with our old City when its radiator fan broke. I only knew there was a problem when the warning sign on the dashboard just started flashing.

At least, our newer cars had them even though they are just digital displays but it helps in monitoring the health of the car. Also, they should start putting as standard a turbo gauge or timer for all turbocharged cars.

This is not written in G4, Accent, Innova, Ford manuals.

I haven't seen these in my cars as well.

I'm planning to buy my 1st ever car. Would like to ask your opinion. Below are all the considerations I'm currently thinking:

    1. Budget: upto 800k (can stretch upto 860k)
    2. I'm only 5'2 so I'm looking for a car na comfortable para sa height ko. I've tried Honda City before but seems huge for me or I guess indi lang aq nasanay kc ilang beses ko lang nman naidrive.
    3. AT transmission - most of the time is gagamitin sya for city driving. It'll be used to go to office but also for my business to pickup stocks sa lotto outlet ko like 4 boxes of lotto tickets. Box is like the size of PS4.
    4. Aircon - I have hyperhidrosis so madali aq pagpawisan. Not a huge deal kc natry ko nman na ang aircon ng toyota, nissan, mitsu at honda, etc and ok nman sila for me.
    5. Toys - toys that could be helpful in my driving like rear cam, additional safety features, etc.
    6. Looks - not a huge deal but ofcourse I want to impress my girl.

Below is yung mga pinagpipilian ko. Feel free na dagdagan pa ang options and why.

    A. 2019 Honda Brio HB
    B. Suzuki Dzire
    C. Honda City E CVT
    D. Kia Soluto
    E. Mitsubishi Mirage HB
    F. Kia Picanto

All can be top of the line except Honda City.

    Thank you.
UP ko lang kc naging off topic na eh...

Sir.. Not sure kung na-try nyo na.. Up to 3 cars pwede mo i-compare sabay-sabay.. Based from my experience accurate naman lahat ng data nila and pricing..

Hehehe..

I'm not an expert po, first time car owner din ako at currently learning to drive pa..

Good luck Sir sa pag pili.. Basta follow your heart.. [emoji173]

Also, sa dami ng options ko it's hard na itest drive lahat yan so I want an opinion sa mga katsikots natin and kaya nga may ganitong tools to help people like me because may hands on exp na sila.btw, ano pong height nyo? Anong car ang nakuha mo??

you have to narrow down your list bro.

use an excel sheet to compare specs.

from your list I would go for the Kia Soluto. Why are you not including the Vios XE?

    Sa list ni TS,
I would go for the refreshed brio or the refreshed suzuki swift (not dzire; very awkward trunk).

The honda city, I'm expecting a model change soon eh.

Vios XE included. Interms of specs, honda city would definitely win but of course more pricey.

Since my main goal is safety dahil learning pa ako mag drive at first car ko kaya yan po napili ko..

There's enough toys to help me sa driving and safety.. rear cam for parking assistance.. park sensors at 6 air bags atbp.

Good luck Sir sa pagpili.. Take your time po..

City is due for a replacement. Platform replacement. Not brand/nameplate replacement. It happens every 6 yrs or so depending on the car company.

    Get the:

    - Vios if you need its extra safety features like 7airbags and stability control.
    - Brio RS if want a good looking hatchback and cheaper than the City.
    - City if want a car that doesn’t look like a taxi cab; it looks more matured compared to the other two mentioned imo.
