I'm going to get my brand new Mitsubishi Lancer EX MX this January 2011 and my problem is..

My parents let me choose, if:

BODYKIT THAN SPECIAL PLATE (consist of 2 numbers only)

    OR

SPECIAL PLATE THAN BODYKIT (Pero hindi na nila ihandle yung expense, siguro a year after na to, through my money na.)

    HELP me what to CONSIDER?

    TIA!

kung gusto mong kumarera, body kits na. pero kung habol mo individuality, special plates. once you put body kits on your car, hindi ka na titigil sa pag-set-up ng sasakyan mo. at even after, let's say 10 years, feeling mo may kulang pa sa mga sinalpak mo sa sasakyan mo.

Special Plate for me! Body kits, madali ikabit, madali tanggalin at madali ding palitan. Special Plate, sa iyo na yan. Pag nag regular plate ka, mahirap magpapalit sa special plate.

Personally, I hate bodykits. Well, the overdone ones.

And, I personally hate the plates starting with P's, too.

So between the two, I'd get the latter -, plates. But if you're open to other options, then get a new set of rims / tires ( 18's ) instead AND a GT-A spoiler. Now, that's ***y.

Stock breaks would suffice if high-level engine modifications, such as turbo-ing the car aren't done.

And changing the breaks aren't required if you change the mags and tires.

Niky's advice is worth considering, especially it is seen that the TS has the moolah to do so.

And placing the " im with stupid " emoticon is really irrelevant.

I'd go for mags na lang instead of special plates or body kits.
I also had the same situation when I got my car weeks ago, ang special plate na 2 digits ata is like 35k right? nagpa ascending 3 number plates na lang ako.
then my dad told me pag tumagal na lang daw he'll get me some tires and rims. un lang mas mahal yun. haha!

IF to answer your question, go for the plates

But for me... just save mommy and daddy some cash and get neither or go for a larger set of tires and rims (the EX MX has 16" right?).
