    Please Help mga sir
    I just bought a Toyota Vios 1.5G 2004 Model

    I just want to know the proper maintenance and what should i do to maintain its engine and transmission

    Im planning na magpa change oil , change oil of ATF , radiator cleaning , palit spark plugs
    change filters , and check steering and break fluid if it needs change as well ( what else do i need to do aside from these mga boss? )

    San ko pwede ipa service to ? recommended ba sa CASA mas maganda for these maintenance ?
    Im located here at BF Homes Paranaque BTW ,


    im very open for suggestion and baka may alam kayong magaling na Automatic Transmission Shop Specialist if ever di ko sa Casa ipapa maintain , please recommend

    ^^ bring it to prens (sucat or alabang) or servitek alabang.
    i think you also need to see and check if the timing belt needs replacement na.

    Can they check the timing belt if it needs replacement na?

    San banda yung sa alabang? and mura ba maningil if ever? hehe im on a tight budget eh

    yes they can.
    prens alabang is located at the alabang-zapote road. in front of toyota alabang if you are going out from concha cruz.

    I have a question as well , its a Digital Odometer and im just wondering if a can reset the Odometer(mileage) back to 0? kasi im not planning on selling it naman eh para ma tantsa ko yung maintenance sched ,

    any negative effect pag nireset ko yung mileage?

    please need answers thank you and pano ko irereset yung mileage?

    it can be done, with no negative effect.
    however, if you would be selling your car na, parang dinuktor mo na yung kilometrahe ng oto mo, which is tantamount to cheating.
    gawa ka na lang ng written record, which i think is better.
    and no, hindi yan pwede DIY. may equipment na galing dyan.

    Don't reset it. Total vehicle mileage is way more important than the mileage you incur using that vehicle.

    Simple mathematics at recording lang naman katapat para sa proper maintenance.

    kasi im planning na every 5K mileage nga is change oil , how about other stuffs like atf oil break and steering fluid?

    change oil and filter every 5K, spark plugs every 10K, fluids every 40K..

    eto ang standards.. depende na lang sa iyo kung susundin mo.

    oil change : 5k kms or three months if you are using mineral oil or semi-synthetic oil/10k kms or six months if you are using fully synthetic oil. kasama na dito ang change ng oil filter.

    tranny fluid change : every 12 months
    brake fluid replacement : every 24 months
    power steering fluid replacement : every 24 months
    radiator/coolant flush/replacement : every 12 months
    cabin filter replacement (if your car has one) : every six months
    air filter replacement: every six months
    throttle body cleaning: every 12 months
    spark plug replacement : every six months
    front camber and alignment check : every six months
    wheel balancing check : every six months
    fuel filter replacement : every 10k kms.
    timing belt replacement : every 70k kms.
    water pump replacment : every 70k kms. (with the timing belt replacement)
    tensioner bearing replacement: every 70k kms (with the timing belt replacement)
    fan belts check/replacement : every 20k kms.
    tires rotation: every six months
    tire replacement : kung manipis na.
    car wash: depende sa iyo..... ako, i do it once a week.
    car vaccum: sabay sa car wash.
    check fluid level: every other day.
    check tire inflation: at least every other day.
    car registration: once a year
    suspension check and replace necessary parts : once a year
    check window washer level : at least once a month
    battery replacement : at least 2 years.
    check/replacement of brake pads : at least once a year (since AT ang oto mo.)


    dagdag ko na lang yung list kung may maalala pa ako.
