Guys please help me on my concern regarding a memorandum issued by LTO Head office last January, 2006.

The memo came out 3rd wk of January, 2006 instructing all district offices to reflect the "manufacture year" of a brand new vehicle and not the "registration year" which they used to do previously. Example as in my case - I bougth an 2006 Innova January 14, 2006, but in the CR reflected was 2005 as year-model due to this memo.

But sometime February, 2006, the said memo was supeseded and now its "Status Quo", meaning its back to "year of registration" as basis for reflecting the year model.

The problem are those registered during the time between the two memoranda (which included my unit). I know this is not an isolated case, so I encourage those affected like me, lets band together.

Its hard to buy a 2006 brandnew unit and yet the CR will reflect its 2005 model, it was a year old already from the 1st day it was delivered.

So I am appealing to anyone, please help me in my concern.

Thanks and GOD bless all you klasmeyts in Tsikot.com
