Between the Altis and the Cvic, both win win. It will totally depend sa overall condition nang sasakyan.

Which would you rather: a vehicle having had an "engine refresh" treatment or a vehicle with it's engine never opened?

i prefer an engine that's never been opened, as long as it still seems to run fine.

depends. an engine done right is way better

but again, depends on the work done, vehicle's age and vehicle's make.

    That I was thinking.

I saw the pics of the parts he even replaced a year ago. Hindi OEM parts as I would have done (timing belt, water pump)pero magandang klaseng replacement parts Naman. And mukhang maalaga iyong owner.

It's an early 2000s suv from a very reputable Japanese brand.

Hindi din Pala talaga madali mag project-project car. 😆

hmmm. 25 year old Japanese SUV.

timing belt and water pump are very small parts. not a big issue for me.

pero with the SUVs age... I (personally) would have replaced the Pistons and Liner - pero, that's just me, for sure my wife will kill me if she finds out.

madami kasi na Piston rings lang pinapalitan, IMO - binuksan na lang din, tinipid pa (although we used to do this kung pabenta na)

Once Pistons are changed, you'll also need to fix the injection system...

and yes, walang katapusan ang project car.
