Any comments again para mapadalawang isip ako?
Another thing. May nakita akong jazz 2009 1.5l AT. All stock 380k na silver. 80k na mileage niya. Good buy ba yun?

Update: I have seen a chevy cruze LS 2011 model matic 61km odo and pasok sa 300k+ budget ko. Nagbasa ako pero medyo konti lang reviews dito. Is it a good car to consider?

Baka mahirapan ka sa piesa tol. From what I hear, that is usually the problem with this car, and also with all Chevys in general.
Agree that an AUV like the Crosswind or Adventure would be very ideal for your hauling needs. They are also very sturdy, and cheap to run and fix. The Crosswind even has an automatic variant should traffic be a concern. These are excellent choices for a first car since everything is very simple and should you break something, they are very easy to fix. If you want something with more power, there is the 1st gen Everest. Just as old school but with a proper turbo intercooler engine plus, I think, also airbags and ABS. Definite go anywhere vehicle too if you get the 4x4.

There are Crosswinds that fit your budget. Medyo luma nga lang.
True that the Everest is not as fuel efficient. But you have to factor in the exchange rate, since diesel is at least P12/L cheaper than the cheapest unleaded gasoline. I am still accepting of my Santa Fe's fuel consumption because 5.5km/L in diesel is still equivalent to 7.1 in unleaded gasoline, assuming prices of P41/L for diesel and P53/L for unleaded. Depending on the variant, resulting fuel cost may most likely not be as good as a Jazz, but will definitely not be worse than what an FD Civic does. Ground clearance is also something to consider what with the rainy season coming in full force lately.

sir/ma'am, it's better to buy your first car that is brand new. by that you can assure that the fuel consumption, and other concerns will meet your expectation. and the name of that car would be at your own. and the privileges would be great. just like the insurance when you purchase a brand new, and your transaction is financing it would automatically go with ALL-IN SCHEME. if you have other concerns regarding this you could call or text me.. 0977-277-9894.....0907-412-3607.
Thanks fkr the insights. Madalas kasi ako sa edsa sir kaya yung 5km/l baka yun na yung magiging daily consumption ko, not mentioning commonwealth is a disaster these days. Napapaisip na rin ako kumuha ng mataas na clearance na vehicle dahil sa ulan. Pero i don't want to decide purely on the current situtaion(maulan). But thanks for the advice, marami ring murang xtrail but the fc is my concern, as a daily vehicle kasi sana

hmmm yeah daily ko tong xtrail and as someone na hindi pa employed masakit talaga sa bulsa ang gas haha.
"Pero i don't want to decide purely on the current situtaion(maulan)." I somewhat agree pero you'll be thankful talaga once maranasan mo maka daan sa mga flooded areas na hindi kaya ng sedan hahaha, you never know when you'll need it.
Open po ba kayo sa pickup? from what I recall matipid daw sa diesel ang hilux/dmax and they're cheaper than their suv counter parts hehe pasok na budget niyo sa early 2000's models. medyo mahal maintenance pero matibay naman mga yan.
Things to be considered also include purchase price and how long you plan to keep the car. Say, you have a max budget of 400k, but bought a relatively fresh but less fuel efficient gas crossover for just 250k. Assuming that you got a low mileage unit with hardly anything to fix, that would be 150k of gas money left over. If you get a more fuel efficient, but more expensive vehicle, how long will it take for you to recoup your additional investment before you start actually saving money? I am not very good in number crunching as that is jut703's job. [emoji23] But from what I have learned from him, it often takes years.
Pickups are feasible but actually aren't that much cheaper than their SUV counterparts in the used car market. The only relatively new pickup I can find in the vicinity of the 300-400k is the Ranger, and then again the Everest of the same era also costs just as much. Toyota and Isuzu pickups are of legendary reputation, but freakishly expensive especially in 4x4 form.

Thanks for this. Nadagdagan nanaman choices ko. Mukhang ok rin pickup, nakakastress nga baha dito satin. I am eyeing on a civic fd 2008 baka macompensate naman nung gas yung 300k pricing niya. As of now, wala pa rin ako mapili. I'm still searching
