    So far, magkano na inaabot ng lahat ng pagawa nyo since nabili nyo oto nyo? Ako kase I'm nearing the 100k mark. October last year ko sya nabili. 94 civic oto ko.

    Dami ko na din napagawa or napapalitan. Suspension, gulong, brake pads, clutch, radiator, aircon, etc. plus the regular maintenance costs like change oil, tune-up. Hindi naman lahat ng cases nasira kaya pinalitan. More on preventive din ung iba.

    Napamahal din kase ako nung una. Since wala pang alam, sa casa ako nagpupunta noon (would you believe tune-up nila w/o change oil e 3k??) Pero lately natuto na din hehe. Kapag may napansin kase ako na kakaiba or may nasira, hindi ako mapakali! Gusto ko pagawa agad. Kaya eto wala na ko pera hehe. Buti medyo nakikisama oto ko ngayon good boy sya.

    yung pag palit ng spark plugs, pwede mong i-DIY. You just need a good torque wrench para exacto ang paghigpit mo sa plugs.

    Suspension you can go to Cruven or Zee.

    Preventive maintenance like change oil pwede sa speedyfix.

    Aircon you can go to Coolmate.

    Well, ganun na nga ginagawa ko lately. Cruven, Speedyfix, Mang Mario pinupuntahan ko.

    Sa ngayon bawi muna sa ipon. Gusto ko sana aesthetic naman pagkagastusan ko next (like mags) kaso kelangan may ready funds para pagawa agad in case may masira.

    new mags = 12,000.00
    new tires for new mags (around 2800/each) = 11,200.00
    new HU = 8,000.00
    amp = 3,000.00
    sub = 4,000.00
    sound setup wiring = 1,500.00
    momo steering wheel = 5,000.00
    boss kit = 800.00

    JDM muff = 6,000.00
    lowering springs = 10,000.00
    aircon cleaning/evaporator and expansion valve replacement = 8,000.00
    fiamm horns = 800.00
    leatherette seat covers = 2,000.00

    well it's one thing to spend for enhancements like mr happy_gilmore, but in general kung 2nd hand vehicle you'll be pressed to spend for broken-down parts.

    i think a figure of 30k a year for just maintenance (replacing broken parts, etc.) is a good all-round figure.

    actually, yung sa akin is a mixture of enhancements, preventive maintenance and replacement of spare parts.

    like yung HU ko. i really had it replaced dahil sira na yung CD player lens. and i would have to spend that much na pag nagdagdag ako is a new HU na.

    yung sa Timing belt, PM sya, but also had the h20 pump and the tensioners replaced also para makatipid na lang sa labor.

    engine supports, replaced na dahil sira na.

    yung mags, replaced dahil na bengkong yung isa.

    not included pa pala sa list ko... battery that i replaced last year... 2,200.00

    Ako, dami rin pinaayos sa nabili kong 2nd hand. Replaced a lot of parts (alternator, battery, one tire, HU, alarm, fog lamps, etc.), tapos payment pa sa checkup at iba pang repairs. Di pa kasama dun mga legal documents na kelangan kapag change of ownership. Still have other things to repair pero pinag-iipunan muna. However, the car is way much better than the first time I got it.

    Yung previous owner kase walang service records. Kaya gusto ko alam ko kung kelan napalitan lahat ng dapat palitan for preventive maintenance purposes, not to mention replacing those parts na palitin na talaga. Kaya laki na ng nagagastos ko. I even maintain a spreadsheet with all my expenses and kung saan/kelan ako nagpagawa.

    Right now I think napalitan ko na lahat ng dapat. Hopefully ma-normalize na ung gastos ko going forward.

    Same here, typhoon. Wala service record yung previous owner. Nanigurado ako kaya dinala ko sa Mantrade yung ride ko tapos pina-checkup lahat. Thank God na tumatanggap ng Paylite yung Mantrade. Gumawa rin ako ng spreadsheet listing down all replacements, checkups, repairs, and even odometer readings para alam ko kelan ipapa-PMS ulit.

    I've spent around 50k siguro since getting the car last July. This includes maintenance cost and repairs lang, wala naman ako dinagdag na pampaganda kasi ok na sya. The car is holding up well except for the fog lights. The angel eyes used to be a major pain in the ass. Palit wheel bearings, clutch master cylinder, compressor, oil seals, hose, among others.
