it's just a matter of time before it gets up to z again

dapat gawin regional ang issuance of plates. for example, assign iligan as one regional name wherein all the cars in that torritory will bear "iligan" on the plates (parang state name sa usa). . .of course, in that region, hindi lang sa iligan pwedeng magparehistro, pwede rin sa ozamis, marawi, etc

here in the metro where vehicle number is densest, assign several cities to be used as registration centers

this will surely make the next plate numbering system last a lot longer. . .ngayon kasi, yung code for the place of registration e kasama na sa number, sayang ang 1 alphabet

japan is also using this system. . .actually in japan, even the engine displacement of the vehicle is represented by a digit/character on the plate

Sana umabot yung car namin sa PI*-***. Napansin ko lang na SUPER BILIS nung P*I-*** naubos, like two weeks pa lang since may nakita akong PBI-*** may PID-*** na pala.

hindi tayo katulad ng US na separate ang mga batas ng iba't ibang states whereas dito sa PH iisa lang ang nag-iissue ng plates. mukhang mahirap ang ganyang plano. why not add an additional digit for our plates?

thanks for the timeline corrections. anyway, as you may also notice yung mga taxi ngayon, nag adjust na din sa plates. dati PVA***, PXT***, etc then naging T series TVB*** TXA*** etc then ngayon UVA*** UVB***

so now i just wonder kung ibibigay nila ngayon yung combo na close sa 90s taxi cabs (PXA*** etc) kasi yung sa N series meron mga plate na NXO*** NYI*** etc.

why can't we apply it with the lto as the single governing body that controls the issuance of registration plates? hahatiin lang naman to give more combinations to the next system. . .it will surely last longer than just adding a digit or two to the current style

may question pala ako mga sir...

ngayon "P" na ulit yung starting letter sa plate...paano yung mga existing vehicles(ie corolla 90's, lancer semi-boxt etc) with "P" ? hindi kaya magkaroon ng twins kase nag-overlap na yung existing and newly born?

    Mine starts in letter P.

^the LTO now uses the letters I, O, and Q which they previously not used for commercial use and will be combined with other letters. e.g. PAI PBI...PAO PBO...PAQ PBQ...PIA PIB... Etc.
